Im sure many of u clerics have had the party bug ever since this latest patch ive been reading and alot of the clerics will be going on strike untill its fixed. which means sorry peeps no BUFFS. so lets speck up about getting it fixed.
so after my sc stuff is done BlacKnight83 will be away untill its fixed. please support us clerics and do the same:mad:

The party bug with Cleric targeting is already known of by the Outspark Staff(both SKiNG and Silkypico I believe made mentions of being aware of it), and a fix should be on it's way as quickly as possible. Unfortunately I don't have any timeframe on it, and more information will be released as it becomes available, so stay tuned, they'll get things patched up!

Clerics "going on strike" by not buffing others hurts only the players in this game, not OS. That doesn't encourage OS to do anything.

It's been repeated over and over in the forums but the truth is, this is a game to us, but a business to OS. Want to make OS listen? Then people need to boycott purchasing SC.

And the lack of buffs/clerics/heals might eventually encourage some players to purchase SC pots and extenders and the like.

Until the bug is fixed, try learning to cleric with the F-Keys.

No prob. From my experience as a player alone, I would say fixing bug's that impact gameplay a great deal, like this one, get taken care of the quickest, but that's not to say it's always the case. Don't take what I'm saying here as an empty promise that it'll be fixed soon please, because I'm not in the business of giving false hope, ha ha.

BUT. I do HOPE it gets fixed soon, and with as quickly as they knew about it, I'm sure they'll have more information on it, as well as a fix to the problem in short time, so keep your eyes peeled for any detailed maintenance info(check after each one if the bug is fixed), as well as Patch information to see if it's listed.

One of the considerations for determining the priority of a task is what percentage of the Fiesta population it affects, and this bug affects all cleric, as well as everyone (with a long name) that ever parties with a cleric.

So I'm guessing it'll get a very high priority, right after all the new SC items :D

Well it's obvious it has to do with the changing of name displays that flow over a certain number of characters to end on the party list with "...". The "..." makes the name unrecognizable to the system, I'm assuming, as if you try to whisper someone using that, by right clicking their name in party when they have "..." affixed to a portion of their name, it'll carry over to the whisper, and when you attempt hitting enter on that whisper, it will tell you "Cannot find the recipient." I smell a reversion to having names flow over the little party display on screen, which is just fine and dandy with me as long as it fixes the selection bug. :3

I don't want to pay another penny to os, unless they make enhancing easier by far >_>, other than that F-keys seems ok to me, i can still target automatically.

Instead of OS telling us about the latest updates in Remi's Rare Finds...maybe they've could've put the accurate way to target in their generated messages.

Just a thought.

It would've helped the community a lot more...
