Ok i know i've said this over and over again online about the lucky ball (Free Sample) giving 1 hp pot!

My view on it was disappointing. Many of my friends also got this 1 hp pot and found it disappointing too. Oh well it may have been a bug or anything.

I suppose just post about it in here xD Don't want hundreds of these lmao!

(Btw i know this should be in the Item Discussion but i thought it would be best to put it here as nearly everyone got one)

If you were to contest, It'd be there decision on giving a sample lb for the lost of more than 5h of gaming time. No one would mind another exp boost week-end~ *whistle* xD

XD why are you complaining about free stuff.... even if it was just a 1hp pot.... its still free... sure some people might have gotten better stuff... but i cant think of a reason to be upset ^^;; thats how it is with every lucky ball... some people get perms... some get pots... but you didnt pay a cent...
also.. if you complain they might not give free stuff anymore D: (and as someone who hasnt been able to afford sc for a long time i loved the free stuff even if my prize wasnt as good as what others got)

actually with the server being down, it wasted boost time, which in most cases costs money. they should give those people who were using boosts a compensation for the loss of time. And not to mention a decrease of the alloted time for sc items.

If thats the case then every time they do maint you think people who are boosting should be compensated? If it was a deliberate downtime I see compensation but with a server crash its not their error

Idk about that. Maintenance are schedule weekly and every players knows it and accept it. They even apologize if maintenance takes more time, which is and should be understandable. Though, a server crash of more than 5h+, you think it'd be excusable with simply:

Dear players of Secret of Solstice, we had a server crash last nights.
Plz excuse us for not being able to play for X hours.

If it was a completely free game, I don't think there would be any harm. However, people actually pay hard earned money for tools that have in rl time limit AND that will expire. Hence, I did expect some sort of compensation. Not that I care or that I'm picky about it. A lb is fine by me. A exp boost would be nice (though asking too much). Free set of y.egg would be sweet. W/e. I'm not complaning. I'm just wondering if you can compare a server crash down time with a maintenance down time???

Edit: UNLESS, when you buy SC it is stated somewhere that if there is a server crash or some reason that consumers/players can't get on SoS, that it won't be compensated for the lost? or something like that? Still, it's not in their interest to make consumers/players angry. It's an online Gaming industry, part of the Service industry. They live off faithful people.

I doubt it was a server crash that caused the game to go offline. Around 1:30AM there were fiber optic lines cut down around Morgan Hill, CA. Within hours more fiber was cut a bit to the north in San Jose, CA and also in San Carlos, CA. With these multiple fiber optic lines cut it likely contributed to the hosting company for these games to go offline until the traffic could be rerouted. The San Carlos lines were rerouted pretty quickly by Sprint but AT&T owns the other lines and did not fully restore service until late in the day (3-4PM).

I am not entirely happy with a second perm Panda suit but will not complain too much as it could have been worse (a single hp pot??). Now, the Panda suit did help me get a xen yesterday from Alistair's fun hide & seek events. The only thing to complain about with the perm Panda suit is that you can not recycle it (i have two of them).

Now, as for lost time on boosts, items, etc. I think something should be done beyond giving people a free sample lucky ball. Maybe an exp boost weekend?

I got the bear suit, which inspired me to go to the store and try to buy something... only to find out that the male item isn't able to be bought. >_<

Getting an hp pot though, that would kind of suck. :p Even if it is free, if I knew I would get that I would have probably traded it for something. lol.

Yeahhh its random. Can't really help it. First time I got one I got some bogus prize. This time a perm bear suit. So you get what you get I guess =\ Does suck for some though

Pretty cool to actually get free SC^^....and it ended up being 1 pot that heals for 100 hp! YYYaaaaayyyy!! Free stuff RAWKX XDDD. Plus the fact that they did it just because of an event outside their control.......(prays for more internet interruptions in California)

I got a Panda Suit from this one, and had gotten a Bear Suit from the free Lucky Ball from last year. :D Although last year I was really close to Wiz and wished I had gotten the 50% boost. lol

But they added tiny pots to this free LB? That must suck. D: Oh well, it's free at least. xD

I did the math and found out that personally I lost 12 hours of play time which on all my sc outfits and boosters would add up to approximately 564 sparkcash lost. From the Free LB sample I got a Panda Suit perm

1 Small pot from sc store = 6.5 sc

100 Small pots that heal 50 hp or 50 mp from sc store = 325 sc

Old LBs on sale in sc store = 2100 sc

New LBs on sale in sc store = 2800 sc

So from my findings I got overcompinsated with a perm panda suit.

Offtopic: Also I noticed that Star LB for Female was 2800 sc and that the Same LB for male was 2100 sc O.o

I can see the Freebie Lucky Balls giving just ONE pot... after all they are samples... but now the LB we purchase are only giving ONE pot as well... and that is messed up. We are already gambling by trying to get a perm... we shouldn't get robbed as well. I have posted about this in the Bugs sections... so if anyone else is having this happen.. please add a post to that thread.

Uh I hope they're planning on compensating yous. It'll be a shame and a waste of money if they don't. Hundreds of people who were thinking of buying sc for lucky balls would be deterred now
