its a mix of quests + grinding
lv1-50 isnt bad, you lv fairly fast

@lv60+ its a real grind/repeatable quest fest lol

but most mmorpg games are kind of like that

not actually a grindfest, although sometimes you should get in the mood for it. You can quest and level up pretty fast so you don't have to hack at monsters for hours if you don't want. I love Teva; there is really good community :) HUGGS
There are several really nice threads that can help you out. I'm not sure urls but if you browse I'm sure you'll find info

It's good. It can be if you want it to be, but it's fairly easy to level with just quests. There are a few excellent guides on how to level swiftly in the forums. Here's one example: http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137425 Just try to balance your repeatable quests with your non-repeats and the levels will fly by. So not a grindfest, although you can grind if you want.
It will just take you 10x the time than doing quests.

However, you have to grind sometimes, either due to the lack of quests at a certain level or or because of the fact that you might need to save them for later.

I'd say it's more like a quest-based game. ^^ And yes, try to look at the leveling guides, they will sure be a good help.

Grindfest begins after level 45+

Don't let the first 35-45 levels fool you, you'll be grinding...And your gears will need oil (sparkcash).

I got to 50 without grinding at all. Since then (currently 72) there have been times that grinding has been necessary (3.5mil around 66/67 due to greenkys full).

And no, you do not NEED sparkcash. I have yet to purchase charms/extenders/sc pots/weapon skins/enhancement thingers.

Dude there isn't enough quests to get to lvl 50 without grinding. Maybe you think it means something else.

You don't need sparkcash, but you'll be incredibly inefficient compared to everybody else who uses it.

As long as you take breaks every now and then, it's a lot of fun. Make some new friends and explore the various features in-game.
