Um...all I can say is that you need WAYY more practise. Sorry, but I can only give these siggys a 4.5/10 D:

How you make better siggs? PRACTICE. TRY TRY TRY AND STILL TRY. Never give up....>>;; I'm a slow learner...on these things, so It took me a year before...I could actually make 'ok' sigs. D:

I agree. If you JUST started i think you are on the RIGHT track.. And i also think that it varies from person to person how fast you learn .. ive been making siggys for about 3 weeks and i get better everyday. also know that i never even touched Photoshop till i started making siggs. so i believe that you are doing well and you have great potential... Just keep it up and you will find you OWN style.. You need help with anything lemmie know altho i do use cs4 so i dont know how to use gimp and paint.net. But gl. :D

I suggest practice making smaller sigs, anywhere from 100-150 x 350-450. Simply slapping brushes and text on a picture to make a monstrous sig isn't really helpful in the long run, limit your canvas size so you will use space effectively later on. :D Ermm also don't abuse filters/brushes/blend modes. Things only stand out and look excessive if you overuse them. For example some people use bevel/emboss/shadows on every single thing they make; try not to do that. =D
