Patch help

I've been running the launcher for about 30 minutes now, updating all the patches, but I've been running into a constant problem; every time one patch finishes, I have to close out the launcher and then re-open it to start up the next patch. I've done this countless times, (for almost every patch), and its starting to get very annoying. Is there anyway to work around this?
