I've been reading quite a few of the general, and class posts for the warrior class, looking for some info on the Paladin. I understand this game is pretty straightforward in how it works, as a Sidescrolling game not-unlike Maple Story.

The way I've been seeing it is that the paladin in the current game, with lvl 49 being the highest relatable lvl to obtain, since it's when one gets the last skills for 2nd job. I dont see how paladin fits into the game for PVP or even random grinding. Since while they get massive Defense due to the use of a shield, and a self-party heal over time, they would be hard to kill, but wouldnt they also take a long time in order to actually do something? I do expect them to take a while, but the way the skills looked to me they are all going to basically be defensive, or buffs. Does this mean the Paladin only shines while with other classes, like the bishop?

I've seen all the information on stats, like 3:1 str spr for more offensive paladin, 2:2 or 1:3 for a more defensive, or Pure Str/Pure Spr for the extremests out there. I'd planned to express the strengths of the Paladin, and play the defensive side of things, but does this mean that I'd have to play with a gang of other people to get by, or can one still solo with this using upgraded offense based gear?

Equally important in a PVP based game (Many elements of the game are rooted in PVP) will there be much in the way of Guild Boss Hunting, and would that be where the paladin would shine, even though if I'd think, wouldnt a counter specialist be like an un-hittable tank? Or if PVP is the entire point of the game in the end, will the paladin serve a roll other than to be the one everyone avoids hitting until the people who can do damage are all dead.

The only other thing I'd be wondering, is if there was a "best" fansite for wiki-like information on skills, classes, and quests for levelling.

Thanks for reading all of this crap, I'm sorry I cant express myself in a few words like some people, just usually have to type in everything that comes to mind or else I'd forget it.

Hope to see all of you ingame some time, New players like myself, and those who are already "done" with what parts of the game we have now.
