lvl 20 mage q...help?

Hi all./ I ve been tryng to do the job quest, on lvl 20 for abt 4 times. Stocked with potions, scrolls, even tryed that little trick with taking equip off before the quest and putting it back on in the dungeon.
i do ok, except at the very end , after passing the blue line,where they pretty much crush me. my normal hp is abt 334 so with scrolls its abt 1000. my skill cool time takes a bit long so i die because i cant kill fast enough. i do decent damage but its still not enough to get through. im hoping to finish this q by lvl 30 :P so any other tips on how i can pull this off without being chopped to pieces in the last stage?:(:D

in the last part was rought for me when i first started but the trick is

1. kill the stonie that respawn behide you first
2. let the marlone archer and fighter come to u and kill them.
3. then u move to ur shadow and kill it and win :D

and the take off ur armor part dont work actually and maybe try get a buff from a cleric on eldrine before u go maybe that help u out

when ur at that part just run around and cast lightning on stonie and then the other 1 untill they die. this way u only take damage from the mage while the other 2 chase u...but if u stay far enuff from mage it stops attacking u too....if the other 2 gets close use ice spell to slow them down then keep running and use lightning spell until they die then 1 on 1 the mage.

mm im not sure if the take of armor worked or not, but then i did defeat the first clone, she ran away eventually. im not sure on her exact stats cause i didnt get the time to check with all the rush. but she did have much less equip then i did, and her spells must have been less efficient without the wand.i hope:P

thx for the last tip too.i didnt run around as much so they all hit me. that might be crucial to how the q ends. good tip. ill wait for maintenance to be over.im curious if this ll actually work or im just a retard with time management qsts:P

well after u fight her first she flees

1. u kill the monster then enter door
2. kill all 5 skelly
3. run till u see dark blue light to end of the map
4. kill the monsters like i told u (stonie first and let archer and fighter come to u and then forcest on killing ur shadow.

u should be able to do it

If you can get some elrues, I suggest getting all your armor to +3.

It's not going to be an epic change, but it'll help since the monsters use physical attacks (except for your shadow - he/she uses magical attacks)

thanks yoshi, actually all my equip is upgraded tho.my physical attack is ..well. girly. magic atack is pretty good for my level, im just tryng to figure out how to take the monsters down separately, because multiple targeting wont do.
i guess ill try to be more careful.. and.. run around

Oh, I can't believe nobody mentioned this yet

When you use magic missile and fire bolt, use the first versions of the skills, the ones that you got at level 1 and 5 (I believe it was). Don't use the second or third versions of the skills.

The damage increase isn't very good, and the cooldown for the extra damage isn't worth it.

I completed mine at lvl 25 xD. The lvl 20 job change is a mage's worst nightmare but if you get a buff+scrolls+full hp stones+some pots you should be able to do it.

lol darkpaper. i know, im lvl 21 but at this rate ?i ll try some tips from other players as soon as the servers back up.(and believe me i was fully loaded with pots nd scrolls i think the monsters didnt kill me at all, i just od ed on potions..)

Hehe, i used the "taking-off-armor" glitch..idk of OS fixed it yet

so idk @.@

but its worth the try :D

just take off all of you armor when you're at the laser part thingy

and then wait for your shadow to spawn and then put you armor backon quickly
and fight :D

it should be a bit easier with a weak shadow XD, make sure you have pots and stones

and scrolls as well

get clerics buffs XD

If you're ever gonna do it again...(Why would you? >:D)
But make sure you get a buff from a cleric first, wear every scroll you can get your hands on, max out on stones and hp potions and you should do fine ^^
Mages are squishy...I didn't succeed in the quest on the first time, but I did the second (After I learned to do all that stuff above >:D)
