Friend List limit??

i dont think there should be a limit to the number of poeple we have on our friends lists. this is my opinion but i want to know if others feel the same way about it as i do.

This is a programming issue, and my guess is that it is based upon size and was originally designed for a culture that did not expect massive numbers of people on the servers.

Changing it to a dynamically growable FL would take space, which would cause problems in terms of storing the data.

your probably right but i wish they would change it so there is no limit on it. im a bit tired of having to delete ppl to make room for new friends lol

I'm sure the plan was always to have a massive population. What kind of business are you if you want to NOT have customers?

More likely, they just wanted a controlled amount of space for the friends lists. I agree with the limit, but think the limit should be raised, maybe to 100.

Current limit is 50 (which gets you a title).

And this game wasn't originally designed for America, it just got brought over.

Yeah, the devolping company is Korean. Does not change the fact that they probably did not aim for a low population. Whether it's Korean, American or Plutopian, businesses still want customers. More customers = more money.

i have the celebrity title. well it may not have been made for the usa but its here now they need to try and make it like it is where it originally started for us as well

but make it 75-100 would be nice

you also have to remember that takes up more space on the servers, and would cause that much more lag. they really need to upgrade their servers again lol

Remove the friends titles (like celebrity, popular)..
what's the point of these titles?

just randomly invite noobs, they will accept anyways, and you will be considered a "celebrity". kinda strange, isn't it? :D

if i recall correctly, there was word that they will eventually be raising the friend limit to 100

i got the celebrity title in less than 2 days ._. and i dont feel like a celebrity and i constantly replace people and get *****ed out for doing so lol .______. its like idk >.> should be more

i like the idea but i notice something while playing the game...not every1 on ur friend list will be on all the time and some never play the game again...a good example: sometime i take a look on my friend list and c if any1 on, but no1 in my friend list is on it's 0/50 -.-''....

Well, I've been playing since October 26th, 2007 and I have not once filled my friends list. (Unless you count me adding random people to get Celeb. In which I deleted right after I got the title) You don't have to add every player you come in contact with.

*Imagines having whole server on friends list* I cant even begin to think of how often I'd hear the annoying fanfare of someone logging in. Lol.

I agree its not enough I also get tired of trying to find someone to delete. Also it would be nice, off subject, if they would alphabetize the guild list. It is very hard to find the one you want.

its kinda easy for me to find people to delete
most of the time my friend list is 3 people online
i think 60% of my friend list is people who haven't logged on in months
i think I've had over 100 friends

I deleted 44 people from my friends list. I then turned around and added half the server to my "block" list, playing Fiesta has never been so quiet.

Lol I rememebr when i was lower lvl always when i heard a GM was around I used to shout "GM make my friend list bigger !!! XD" Would be cool if they'd make it bigger tho, not limitless of course O.o
