I had two related ideas that could make party and map hook-ups faster and the game more enjoyable. It would require considerable programming, but programming could be similar to doing a chat room depending on how something like this would be implemented (or completely different if implemented as is). I doubt that this would come to fruition since it would not be an upfront money maker for Outspark as far as I can see, but it never hurts to try. I have never played any other MMORPG games besides SOTS and a tiny bit of Fiesta, but this is something that could be done on all MMORPG Outspark games.
Party Reservation System- Talk to an NPC in the Guild office to schedule a party. This is similar to playing an online game when you are looking to find someone to play head-to-head. This would also be similar to a dating service. By signing up, it would provide a person looking for a party with all of the ranges of things like class and level (For example, looking for a lvl 42-50 aco for 2 hours at or nearby Chant). You could then select the profile and sent a red letter message if the person would like to party. Ideally, you could pay a charge to the transporter of like 10,000 kron to be transported directly to the map the player you have hooked up with is on if both parties accept. There would also need to be the ability to block or unblock a person accessing a Party Reservation System profile to avoid trouble and stalkers. Hopefully, you would be able to save a few profiles or searches so you would not have to continually enter in the same “looking for” search every time you are looking for a party.
Location: All cities with a guild office.
Purpose: To help people hook up with parties and encourage greater community
Reason: Try being an aco or a mage. Finding a party is quite difficult for many people. They might spend 5 minutes to an hour looking for a party.
World Map Status – Talking to a NPC will bring up a world map. Clicking on an area in the map will list the number of Xenians currently in the map. There could be a quest related to unlock this feature. You could get items like chocolates or other rare items for unlocking 10 maps, 20 maps, etc.
Location: All cities with a guild office.
Purpose: To see which maps have the least amount of people to start an aoe.
Reason: To reduce the hassle of traveling 13 maps to find that it is occupied by 4 aoe parties. This would also lessen aoe shouts.
