Clicking to Iniate AoEs (Whatever they are called XD)

I hope this isn't another one of my many fail threads.

So I've been wondering this for awhile. Does anyone know why the AoEs that you need to click on the ground to use don't work in PvP? I'm talking about AoEs like Lightning, Icicle, Freeze Splasher, Reticle Trap, and Arrow Rampage. Any sort of explanation why they don't?

I dunno, but not only the click-on-ground-to-aim skills don't work in PvP, they also aren't affected by Amplification and apparentely can't crit... Not to mention they are heck to aim quick and accurate when you're assist aoeing or even tank/kite aoeing...

Why click on ground skills are so lame like that? Dx

Ummm, frost isn't in this catagory, you don't click the ground, it will crit (don't know why) and amp works with it. I am not sure why the pvp maps are set up that way, it's been griped about many times and it's pretty unfair. I also think the click on the ground aoe's are pretty lame, very hard to control and you often end up running into the mob right before you hit them. Maybe it's to keep the sale of 7% pendants high?

It's one of the odd things about AoEs in PvP. A loooooong time ago they simply didn't work in PvP at all except Bramble and Frost, which targeted only the selected person. Then they made regular AoE moves work, then they fixed Bramble and Frost xD My guess is that these skills don't work simply because they don't "target" anything :S

once they allow click on ground aoe in pvp, i know for sure freeze splasher is one hit amp kill aoe xDD and I dont think they will ever allow click on the ground in pvp. For me, click on ground aoe has it advantages and is good for kiting mobs and less mp consumption.. Volcano lvl 2 is 83 mp (if im not mistaken) and it does take a lot of mp while lightning mastery is only like 56mp? Overall, click on ground has less advantages (maybe just the mp consumption) in comparison to auto click aoe..

Back then aoe didn't work in pvp just like kit said. Frost didnt work at all, only bramble did and to only a player you aimed at if im not mistaken. There is no absolute answer to deo's question. Talk to GM or the devs if you want to get the right answer xD
