What hotkey did you put NM on?

What number on the shortcut bar did you put Nature's Mist on? I was thinking of changing one slot to "R" for the Nat's Mist and one to "T" (for piercing shot if I ever reach 75) A friend put it on tab so he can use his pinky finger to press on it while running backwards while he aims with his right hand but I think my pinky isn't that "dexy"

Lol I still don't have Nature's Mist, but I still want to be prepared to abuse it when I get it :D.Tell me if you misunderstood what I was trying to say, and I still haven't seen a suggestion post about this.

Don't be harsh, I just want to know where you put it so I can actually decide where to put it. (I'm sure nobody put it to alt+= so no sarcasm/discrimination/derogatory remarks just because I'm lvl 39 please)

I Kite with by clicking but when Im just runnin around I Use WASD so I dont accidently buy anything + it feels more comfortable.

I use up/down/left/right arrows for movement, because its easier as I use left hand to control my mouse.

Mist is on W, protection is on Q incase too much aggro. pots are on O and P, dont ask why.

piercing will go on E when i get it.

Works great, I just run by clicking my mouse, keep my pinky on the Q and with another finger I can spam 5 and 6.

In that case, I would suggest just using hot-keys 2 and 3. But I suppose Z and X should work well for you.

I usually use WASD to move, and I "steer" with the mouse. I assign hotkeys based on how frequently I use the skill in question, and how easily I can hit the key with my left fingers.

On all of my characters, auto-attack is 1 and item pickup is 2. 3 is for the "spammable," most used skill, which is NM on archer (Heal for cleric, MM for mage, and Power Hit for fighter). 4 gets the next most used skill, which in the archer's case would be Power Shot. 5 and 6 aren't quite as easy to reach, so I assigned the less frequently used skills there (Aimed and Multi Shot, respectively). I usually put potions from 8 to =, grouped by tier. (I stopped using 7 after I kept accidentally hitting it and wasting pots when reaching for 6. :o)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that my archer is only 59. :o I will presumably modify the hotkey arrangement if I ever get Piercing Shot.

I have all the other stuff (DoTs, NP, mover, town scrolls, gear, etc.) in a pair of vertical bars on the right side of the screen, so I can just right-click on the appropriate icon to use what I need.

I'm an odd duck, as always.

WASD movement, mouse steers. "9" = NM, "8" = MS. No 7x archers yet, but I'm working on it.

Buuuuut, I'm using a laptop. When I was briefly on a desktop yesterday, I found that setup wasn't working as well as with the touchpad.

Nature's Mist is on ` and Piercing Shot on Tab. Since that keys are right next to WASD, Q and E I can use them easily by just moving mai left hand a little. ;3

This way, i have my AoEs on the same key, but alternate with shift. You cant kite with the shift row, which is ok because i usually dont use any of them kiting. I dont like reaching down to the 6-10 keys, but I'm more than comfortable with key combinations. Soon ill have to move down to the ctrl row; alt row will be a while from now.

I know that. the one in the left extra button can be used instead of having to click back and the right is used instead of clicking next in the internet browser.

here is all my hotkey's set up
2-1 to 2-5 are on my mouse
2-6 to 2-12 are form f6 to f12
3-1 is R key
3-2 is ` key

when I am kiting, my left hand is on 9 an 0
and I run by click
all my stone, HP/SP pot, SC pot ect... are on my mouse
