With all the debates going on with STR or DEX, SPR and END issues blah blah blah..I start to realise people are forgetting that this is a cashshop game..

Why the Standard 25% crit for Archer?

+25 spr(Free Stats)= +5% crit. Weapons and gears with SPR do not add to your critical percentage do take note of that. It only increase your SP base and magical defense. Now, with a 25% critical suit from cashshop, You get a healthy 30% crit rate. Do you think you still wanna add points in SPR after 25points, gaining a mere 0.1% crit chance increase still? Add in a crit % earring for the extra boost if you want. 1 out of 3 shots is a crit.

Why DEX not STR?

STR

You are meant to have a +9 weapon when you are willing to spend money for cashshop weapon protection scrolls. With time, you see people with shiny weapons everywhere. Its a senario I pictured this game to be after beta. Everyone knows that a +9 weapon give u an extra 1% crit rate and also very good weapon base damage. Do you think you need to add 1 point to STR for a mere +1 damage? It may sound alright now for beta, but the whole STR theory is crap after beta peeps.

DEX

Like i mentioned in my guide previously, I did said that Archers need more than the normal amount of aim percentage to land their poisons and bleeds etc. And Im not wrong in this alright people. I have personally tested archer's capability to land a poison shot on a "RED NAMED" mob with god knows how many times. Even with a aim scroll(commonly tier 1 aim, cos you wouldnt want to be using tier 2 or 3 for grinds, thats insane!) I am not hitting often enough for the poisons to be effective. I tested that before i get 25 DEX, I missed alot. I tested that after 25 DEX and im hitting 70% of the time. I don't think I need to go further with the maths.



I have made my points across. Believe me or not fellow archers. I meant not to misled you peeps but mainly to highlight how this game mechanic works. I know there maybe still some archers who might still disagree with this agruments. Like i always believe.."To each his own" Do it as you deem fitting if you don't agree. Post your arguments here. Make it sound reasonable and logical. I wanna see what the archer community has to say with this conclusion of mine. For those of you who actually agrees with me. My guide is as below. Great but this might sound like a stupid question but i was wondering...

out of your guide and other people i finally decided to go for SPR and DEX buuttt.... Do i shove a whole 25lvls into SPR then go for dex or do i balance it out... Also if i balance it out do i dod it on a 1:1 ratio or a 2:1 ir what... Sorry if the question is stupid but... I need to know. Thanks

there's absolutely nothing wrong with asking a question if u really don't understand or know the answer
we should all be more willing to help each other

anyway, most people, including me, say that you should go ahead and do ur spirit first and then go for wtvr else u want
that way u'll understand the game better and u might wanna change ur decision in between

Recommendation is 25 SPR before all else. Once ur 20ish. you are pretty much set to decide for yourself which is a better path to take from there.

Yes basically X(+25 spr free stats).

That should be attainable after level 20 job change(bonus 5 free stats upon completion of job change).

Hi since your like lvl 50+ im sure you know if you can solo orcs and trupies, I just want to know if a DEX build is really the way to go for soloing in uruga and AEW and if its not to much of a bother can you tell me whats your build ^^

I dont agree whit you cos it works only if you play whit higher or same lvl ppl you are.It doesnt work if you play whit lower lvls and you have to be tank cos you canot take the agro whit low dmg.So i think you have to chose on the begining of the game if you depend on others make 25spr then add all to dex.But if you think you are helpful archer and want to help others to lvl make full str archer like i did.btw i get +24spr and 12dex from my equpment atm so i think it would be waste if i was add my skill points to spr and dex.

Yes i can solo orcs and orcs hunters etc at Uruga. Yes i can kill trumpys solo but i have to stone n pots.

My build is +25spr initial, +Dex all the way til cap.

I m playing whit lower players cos i made my own guild.Dint want to quit the guild i m in from cb so i m in that 1.Im helping them lvl and its fun.The game started to be boring to me so i found this way to make more interesting and yes it works.Thats why i m playing whit lower lvls.Dunno how your build work in guild wars but i m rock in guild wars.I can solo but i dont have chance, there is always some 1 asking me help.One more thing whit lower lvls you get more exp.Dont have +9 weapon yet.I m just start to farm TK for weapon i hope i will make 1 soon.I like my build cos my dmg is realy high.But its realy hard to lvl up whit this build.Its pay back after lvl55 only so dont make this build if you want to lvl up fast.This build is only for hardcore players.

oi....have you ever try the cash shop yet?....if not dont say anything like making +9 items is easy...even with the cashshop stone...you can break you weapon at the 1st try .....those who has +9 is the one winning the event and got it from GM.......even with +9 weapon, the one has +9 weapon and the other has +9 with lots of STR...which one better do you think?
And adding 60dmg is not pathetic at all...how much dmg you think you will deal to orc , musroom, trumpy, greenly at lv 50? like 500-1000? never....

=O my gosh so much hate in this reply..for your info : this was posted way before the cashshop opens and my info is from the korean version Shine Online. And yes Outspark is not selling some of the best items yet to players for some reason. Well Fiesta is still in beta, cashshop opened abit too early at this stage, we shall see when fiesta officially launch. And til you see end game archers, dont ask how i solo those mobs at uruga, you will cring..
