Event questions

So i happened to be online for an event sat morning, and i was just wondering if its always going to be that lame?
I mean you throw a bunch of monsters into the town?
what about everyone trying to do other stuff?
Like go to storage, or do anything on mall st.
Why make people worry about dying and losing 5% exp because they went to the hotel at the wrong time....*sighs*
whew rant over sorry.
Is it super laggy w that many people in one zone or is it just me?

No there's some fun events too. Like the treasure hunt event or the battle arena (although I haven't been able to participate) event.

when ever there is an in town event like spawn city you don't lose any exp. and the drops are that bad either.

Just as Mon said, no Exp loss and good drops, that is the point of them.

A good proportion of the monsters do not agro, so its safe for other players to waltz past, but if this really bothered you, I for one would like to move to another location, such as the Guild Plaza perhaps, its open and no one is there, even if it is a little small...
Hitting the mobs in Mall Street when they are hidden by buildings can be tricky at best.

As SweetLavender said, there are other events such as finding the GMs, PvP, forum games, and even a Question and Answer that Rider put together, which sadly alot of people did not appreciate.
