Server wipe?

If the server wipe occurs, how many people are going to stop playing this game?
This is definitely a great game and can make it somewhere. Possibilities are endless for such a fantastically made game. I hope they make the right choice and not revamp it all over, it would be shameful.

I for one, hope that a lot of people don't leave. But those that do leave, it just goes to show you that they really didn't care enough about this game to stick with it through thick and thin.

Sure this game looks perfect but it's not completely perfect, bugs / glitches and other things like that are what Beta testers need to find and help the GMs prevent in the future for the next generation of players. Not everything will be revamped but not wiping the server will allow for glitches / bugs that some people never reported for some reason to be abused.

Sorry but I really hope that they do wipe the server, it will ensure that everyone has a fair chance. Even though those that Beta tested the first time around will have more knowledge of the game.

You don't have to dedicate your entire life to playing this game, I hope those that are over 21 or even below 18 have a life and don't spend the majority of their time on the computer. Unless it's their job of course.

:p I too get into some long gaming sessions. But I'm actually trying to get into the gaming industry so I think I'm an exception.

I guess what I'm saying is that I hope people don't spend day in and day out gaming and not taking the time to remember that their's a real world out there to experience and enjoy with friends / family.

IMO, it'd be pretty sad if people left just because of a character wipe. It's a fact of life in beta testing that wipes will occur.

Video games are all I do, all day, when I'm not on here I'm forgetting my Troubles on Halo 3.

There is nothing wrong with playing Video Games all day, and the term "No Life" is a bit, daft. I am with friends for about 90% of the day that I am awake, having a great time, and if I have "No Life" for doing that, then I sir, don't want one.

Character Wipe is tricky for me though, I think I am already beginning to burn out, and I hate it. Hopefully its purely to do with playing FFXI, which I should be able to overcome.
