Solar Storm What Is This?

Is 2012 having Solar Storm? Please Tell me the date and how many country will be affected by it. :(

If I recall from long long ago memorty, it is a burst of redioactive wave shower form sun. So in a sense all country will be affected but those close to equator probably affect most.

Okay it's supposed to be December 21, 2012, I think. A burst of radiation from the sun yes, but with that, cancer will increase yes, and it will get hotter yes, but also, the whole world will be affected but the biggest problem is that with that large amount of radiation, it can mess up electronics big time, wipe bank accounts. Most people's theories are that it will cause us to live without electronics, and become heathens, or something. I dunno, this kinda kills my motivation to graduate.

That's just what I've heard, I dunno for sure, I really hope this crap doesn't happen.

yeah sure everone dies eventually but i dont want to die in the next three years from some radiation
thats got to be one of the worst ways to go

So many different rumors about the world ending Dec. 2x 2012 , So I dont believe in them anymore.

If a solor flare was to hit the Earth's atmosphere the resulting burst of ionic radiation would burn off the ozone layer and create a world wide geo-magnetic pulse that would nutralize all electrical devices.

Also with out the protective ozone layer, it is more serious than just an increase in cancer rates. ANY time spent out in the day light would result in IMEDIATE radiation burns.

Solor heat would no longer be trapped or repaled. So the days would be imensely hotter and the nights would be freezing.

UHHHH, you realize the sun has given about 15-25%(HUGE) more energy and the global temperature is staying the same right?
