Hi,

Now there are new maps for the higher lvl players, ive noticed that older already fairly quiet maps are now completely dead, kinda rendering them useless. However the mobs there could tweaked slightly(very easily) and become extremely useful to us players.

Heres the maps that could use some tweaking as they are now:

Simpson valley:2+284*
Damager(s): Dinopuppet and Tonokai
AoE mon(s): Hypocrite


Sheryle forest:2+290*
Damager(s): Dinopuppet and Rashum
AoE mon(s): Hypocritter


Nordis valley:2+293*
Damager(s): Dasracker and Mashum
AoE mon(s): Rough cow


and after tweak:

Simpson valley:2+284*
Damager: Tonokai
AoE mon(s): Hypocrite, Dinopuppet


Sheryle forest:2+290*
Damager: Rashum
AoE mon(s): Hypocritter, Dinopuppet


Nordis valley:2+293*
Damager: Mashum
AoE mon(s): Rough cow, Dasracker

Basiclly it's just a case of changing 1 of the hard hitters in each map into an aoeable mob.

Pros:
-This would be literally 5 mins work for the game devs to adjust....hell i'd even pay for them to do it out of my own pocket.
-It wouldn't add any imbalance due to the low amount of xp gained on these maps and the time it would take to gather the map for aoeing.
-It would encourage more players to use the maps and free up the higher lvl maps for higher lvled players.
-Give aoe classes more maps to aoe instead of grinding which they are obviously not designed for.
-Good alternative to grinding.
-Good alternative to when no parties are avalible.
-Less risk of losing that precious xp.
-Make more lvl 87-103 gears avalible, thus helping lower their inflated costs.
-More fun.
-More $$ for outspark :P

So what do you think? p.s i'd like to see an aknowledement of this thread made by a GM if possible.

And I think something similar could be done to Desert maps...
I really believe this is a game issue, and fixing this will prevent LOTS of player from quitting the game.

I support the idea as long as there are still a few maps with 1 aoeable monsters out of 3 for the ranged classes. Some sort of GM event with a short story like the monsters found a huge store load of xen stones and rares which is why they were stronger than they were supposed to be (all spawns would be hard hitters). More maps become aoeable and a fun event where some rares could be won... I like it

There is still enough challenge when you have a few ranged hard hitters. Some of the maps posted are very seldom used.

Look you guys... is it so horrible to have a few maps you can't aoe? I for one like to single kill with a party of friends. We can laugh and have fun while exping. If you wanna change some maps.. change the ones between Sharks and Cobalt Caves. Nobody uses those... so just up the difficulty... make them more like the ice maps. There is an alternate route to Cobalt, by ways of the mines, so people going to cobalt can still get there easily. There are also a huge number of rarely used maps between Eir and Chant, that could be altered to be more useful for aoer's.
