Fix the terrible in-game font?

I'm sure this isn't very difficult to do,
the hard to read font makes me nauseous.
It actually makes me not want to play the game.

I have also seen this mentioned in several reviews of the game,
it's just a silly little thing, but it can make the difference between people playing, or not.

I think the font issue might only apply to certain computers. On my main computer, for instance, the in-game font is perfectly defined and readable, but on my laptop, apart from being smaller, it was a lot lighter/softer, making it a bit harder to read. 'Kinda like how the gray in the forums' design is completely washed out when I use my school's computers (which are a different kind than my main). It's just white and green-- the gray gets completely canceled out by those computers' screens.

Since settings, resolution, gamma correction, color coding, etc. differ from monitor to monitor, there's always going to be a good amount of people who aren't going to see font, graphics, images, etc. the way designers/programmers/etc. meant for them to be seen. But perhaps Outspark can tweak the font color/size/contrast with background a little, so that it's more user-friendly to a wider range of monitors than it is at the moment.

I've used it on several different computers and had the exact same issue.
I've also never had this problem in any other game.
I'm sure they could very easily at least put in font options.

Well, You probably have ClearType activated on all of those computers you've been using. ClearType makes fonts more "readable" - and make them appear more smoother. From the Microsoft site: "ClearType delivers improved font display quality over traditional forms of font smoothing or anti-aliasing."

If you're using XP -- There's an option to change it via the Microsoft site (google it).
If you're using Vista -- There's an option to change fonts in your display option (take off smooth edges).

I've used both OS and have seen the difference with ClearType on and off. ^^;

Though I agree, I would love to have a font option-- I have smaller and bolder typefont I would love to use in game.. but seeing as we don't have the option for it; @-@ Will have to stick with it for now..

So, turning off Clear-type fonts fixes the problem.
That's so silly.
Clear-type is supposed to make fonts easier to read...

Yeah, it really depends on your display. But yeah.. To each their own ^^;
