Why There Should Be A Character Wipe

You know, everyone says there should not be a character wipe because of the time lost training in CB. However, there must be a character wipe no matter what anyone says. Its because as a company, they want everyone to start off fresh and give the new players a chance to start off at the same level as the CB testers, besides (this prolly has nothing to do with the fact) after OB testing it goes straight into the official game and by that time CB players would be max level while everyone else would be like lvl 1 and there would be that giant gap between CB returning players and new players. So, its better to do a character wipe.

yea but if u get to level 100 in the time during CB then you have absolutely no life what so ever, your only friend would probably be your right hand (or left) if ya knoe wut i mean...

well if there was a character wipe, we should get to keep some of the event stuff and such because we worked for it, anyways it all depends on which side you look at

ppl who wasn't invited---wipe---everyone starts out equal
ppl who was invited---no wipe---lost of time and effort
me---if there was a wipe, let ppl keep their event stuff and give them a constalation prize to let ppl know they played in closed beta, if there wasn't a wipe, give new players xp boost. IT'S AS EASY AS THAT!!!! so every1, stop complaining

not necessarily, if i was playing i would want a character wipe too.... dunn ask why but actually i really wouldnt care if they did or did not if i was playing cause i could easily get back to the level i was before (If i could do it once i could do it again.... simple) as for event items... all well cant help ya there but thats why theres allways more then one event lol

well if you get to a really high lv and spent like 2 months on it, you wouldn't really want to start over

I have a lvl 23 rogue + lvl 29 fighter [started on friday .. i have loads of free time after uni =P]

i don't mind the wipe.... i prefer there not to be one, but then again it makes it fair for the people who didn't get invited.

rogue uses dagger, the 2nd job advances if u choose archer... u use bow ^^ - i'll make a thread later about job advances in a new thread if u like ;)

It's for everyone to start from fresh table. And you can't say it's because of jealous noobs. Someone takes that as you are lazy noob, becuz you can't train again? Now.. I would be called nerdy noob? :D

Everyone DOES have an equal chance. Everyone started off at level one with what the game gave them, through hard work, they made it up to the upper ranks. Oh and that "gap" will be filled in by people who recently got an invitation. I don't doubt that there will be a server wipe though.

I disagree with character wipes, because we worked hard to get our lvls, just because u want it even, doesent mean everyone will be happy about it. These players trained too hard to let it get wiped out now.

Oh and why do u want to get invited? If theres going to be a character wipe, it wont matter, it`ll be the same as if u waited for OBT to come... -_-
AND GUYS STOP POSTING EMAILS THE GMS ALREADY HAD IT WHEN U REGISTERED! USE UR HEADS!!! :mad:

Guys, no GM needs ur emails, when u register u gave em ur email, so why post it now? They can access ur account info anytime they want, so just stop it. And no one will kill themselves, they may quit the game and never play again.

Shuva, dont say that. But some are jealous that some players got into CBT and they didnt (since they arent active in the forums) so they want the wipe.

A wipe is required, and will most likely happen. Complaining about it won't do anything. They most likely have it decided already, and your massively negative attitude and threats of people quitting won't do anything but aggravate them.

A wipe isnt required. It`s optional. It`s unneccessary. It`s irritating. It`s unwanted.
Complaining to make wipes won`t change people`s mind, it makes things worse, it makes people quit, give up, and even rant. Your attitude aggrivates me, let the GMs decide, I won`t let an average player like you decide everything...
