Often enough to be annoying, the game crashes. No message displayed, and since i can't find a log, i can't say much more.

Somtimes happening while i try to change map, sometimes when playing even without going anywhere, sometimes just when the game start and server choice screen is displayed...

A few things that could help (maybe ?):

- First thing, i WAS playing in windowed mode, 1024*768*16, while my desktop is 1024*768*32. I've just changed to 1024*768*32 fullscreen, even if i doubt it will change anything (1024*768*16 windowed is common for most games, with me, and no problem with any so far -even more true with OpenGL- )

- Second thing, I play on first server... Marian. Maybe this one is over populated ?

- Third thing, my config, while ok for minimal requirements, is probably a bit low for recommended: processor AMD 1200, RAM 512 Mb, RADEON 9600 with 64 (or is that 128 ? Not sure :P ) Mb RAM.

Thanks to anyone who has an idea !

I also have an off-question, but since answering it is simple, I'll ask here.

Why's that game is forbidden to people younger than 13 years old ? US law ?

its not forbidden for people under 13 to play, its just suggested that u should be 13 and up, like a movie rating, u don't have to be 13+ to watch a rated pg-13 movie..

Firstly, it is prohibited to create an outspark account if you are under age 13, the actual quote from the TOS stating this is below.

The Outspark Service is for users age 13 and over. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 2000, if you are under the age of 13, personal information cannot be collected from you and thus you are prohibited from creating an Outspark Account through the Outspark Service, are not eligible to enter any prize awarding events and/or promotions and are asked not to provide any personal information of any kind on or through the Outspark Service, or to us.

One possible cause is that you're missing packets.

Open a command prompt and type in "Ping -t google.com" If you continuously get the message "Request Timed Out" then you're missing packets and you need to contact your ISP and tell them this.

Another possibility is local network lag, are you operating on a wireless system and if, the connection is much stronger closer to the router. Are there many computers running on your network at the same time. Say, if your mother, father, and brother were all on the computer at the same time, you would have to share the bandwidth with them and would be significantly slower than if you were the sole user.

End ALL background programs that are not necessary to gameplay.

Run a DeFrag and disk cleanup, and uninstall old/unused games/programs.

If this doesn't work you might just have a bad computer, improper computer stats, or a slow internet connection.

Thanks for your answers. However, Poochy, I was asking because i saw this game was prohibited to people younger than 13 years old. Some thread explaining you shouldn't let the game on without paying attention if some child can access the computer, or you could find your account terminated without knowing why...

Onorengan, no packets are missed... Usually. But because i use ICS (shared connection if you're not familiar), maybe that could happen when it become "crowded" (there are 5 computers for a 5Mb connection).

Still, this should result in a disconnection, right ? Does getting disconnected on this game mean you find yourself in front of your wallpaper, still trying to attack monsters ? Without any warning ?

I'm not exagerating here: game speed is correct, and suddenly wallpaper instead of game... First time it happened i thought it was minimized, but I couldn't find it in the task manager.

Well, at least, my computer doesn't lag for half a year before going back to desk. :P
