Ok before you go...

"Oh no... not another Dex Fighter thread."

Take the time to read this.

I have heard of a many players on here complain/ say that Dex is worthless to a fighter.
Then I have heard of a few players that wanted to try something by adding Dex get pretty much told off about how worthless it is to a Fighter.

Now in my opinion a player can put in what ever stat they like to play the game.
Its not about who has the greatest stat but whether you have fun or not on the game.

With all of that in mind we already know we know some of the pros and mainly cons (or all cons for some players) on getting Dex.
(I don't know what is true because with the way debate is it would seem that the stat would almost contradict what its suppose to be for...)

But what if in the long run?
Would Dex be more useful way later in the game?
Is it even possible to make any type of hybrid Dex user?

What are your opinions?

(This is for mature debate only meaning no flaming only opinions)

well i like your idea butit is dependent on waht u want to do with your char.

i personally like spr because they give u crit% & sp so u can spam your skillz and kill the mob faster.

but i think the free stats benefits taper off after 25 pts on any particular skill. (for spr it gives .1% crit after 25 pts instead of .2%crit) so i think a 25pt end/25pt dex fighter would have a good amount of benefits from both (end gives you HP, shield block% [if u use shields], added physical def & the dex gives you eva%, hit%)

now if ppl are deciding which one to go all in for...i'd say end is the better choice because it gives 3 advantages instead of only 2 for dex.

No Dex is not useful for a fighter in the long run because the starting dodge rate for fighters is to low and compared to Archers ( who barely dodge at all 40+) think how few times a fighter will dodge, take one of Teva servers high dex builds-(Keeps nameless to hide her shame ^^) who bragged about her "super dodge" yet she cant win one pvp duel and needs a full group to solo a simple thing as chickens and shes 50+ by now I think.

As I see it
Low dex means low hit rate
And that means when a fighter is alone trying to solo it will be the most painfull experience ever
Some dex is good but not over dexing
Ive had a problem that I didnt have enought dex and I sat there taking hits from a clan fighter because everyone moved on and I kept missing it
So after that I uped my dex a little and now im better off

The primary problem with Dex as the to-hit determinant is that the power scroll (tier 1 and then tier 2) increase the to-hit chance by such a major factor that the dex aspect is overshadowed. Couple this with the fact that dodging doesn't seem to happen with high level mobs and viola, dex is a severely deprecated stat.

If your THAT worried about hit rate invest some money into green gear and enhancing your weapon it covers your hit rate and also your hit rate and a small amount of Dex goes up WITH your lvl and newer weapons (dee dee dee) sure adding about 10 more dex will get you a 2/10 +hit rate that means ofcourse for every 10 hits you'll hit 2x more. I have no problem with my hit rate my fighter can solo tank orcs and with on average i miss maybe 5 hits every 20 so Im hitting the mob on average 15/20 w/ a white weapon w/ a green gk sword (goblin king) that adds x+str x+dex x+end and 10% hit rate thats xdec+10% hit + my base hit (with no dex stats added) I will still only hit 2 more so with that green 1h sword I am hitting 17-18/20 hits.
