Applying Patch...

Well I'm new and still havent gotten to play yet... I've been wondering. How long does it take it to completely put the patch in... -_- Oh I've set it on for about all night, wake up and its still doing the same thing. My computer is alright. But still I dont think it should take THIS long... and trust me... I know about long patch, I play FFXI right next to this. lol.

I was confused for a moment, but changed the combatibilty to Window 2000. lol. xD

i still can't find the compatibility tab, don't think it's .exe either and can't find that :mad:

ok i did that but i get a problem saying my password and username are incorrect or my soft ware is out dated >.< ***!!

Well its still saying Applying patch, but I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

yeah it would open up no problem after i set the compatibility for it and got that, now i'm trying reinstalling it then get it running with the compatibility set, i got applying patch and i hope it'll patch correctly with it set with windows 2000 compatibility

After you make an account you have to validate that its real before you can use it in-game. Go to the email address you used when creating the account data and validate that your email address is real.

also, that reinstalling didn't work, now i can't even get past the applying patch part

i have dsl and i took down pretty much every thing i could find that looked like some kind of firewall and i have yet to get it to work

if the launcher on the bottom left says ''applying patch''..and youve waited for like 3 hrs....and nothing happen...heres the [S O L U T I O N] C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Local Settings\Temp from there you will find ''fiestapatch'' folder...there was suppose to be nine..if not drag down...and u will find ''fiesta.patch'' zip file >open>extract there...and manually patch it...if theres something wrong with ur ''fiesta.patch'' zip file...move it to other drive (local disk D recommended) then u can install the NEW fiesa client 1.2.64 heres the link http://cdn2.outspark.com/Outspark_Fiesta.1.2.64.exe ...if u have finish downloaded it... DO NOT UNINSTALL UR FIESTA FIRST....just install the new one ..let it overwrite the old one...after that check again ur C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\Local Settings\Temp if theres a new folder..u r good to go...if theres a new zip file...manually extract there...and patch it....

IMPORTANT:

while downloading turn off firewall....for some people who use norton..make sure their firewall turned off...the size must be 587 not less...

the same thing goes to me....i really dnt know if this patch is an error or it totally doing the patches.... please help us so that we can play this game...hoping it will be fix..... thanks ;)

you said its 9 folder right?first i only got 2 folders coz the "applying patch" thing shows up
i went to C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Local Settings\Temp look for the file then i run one of the folders think its fiesta.patch.64-65b.7z108821.dir after that it patches then the patch stop of only 4 folders and its running and i manage to log in

After i go to documetns and settings and then Temp theres 2 folders but do not pertain to fiesta...

hey guys what if u downlaod it and u dont have a patcher thing and still gets stuck on applying patch... i dotn have all those 9 files or anything and dotn know where to find them
