No, there is no Isya Blossom Event. I don't know why they are dropping...I've talked to some people and they just said ignore the drops.

There used to be an event where you needed them... I have no idea how the blossoms managed to get back into the game after being removed. You can keep them if you want but it's a waste of space imo.

Hang on to them if you have room, there have been 2 isya blossom quests since I started, and both were in the spring(April/May). Odds are they will probably have another one next year, and you'll be able to complete the quest, otherwise they are just garbage.

There were removed from the game in a June update. As far as I know, I've not heard any talks of bringing them back for anything, though you're more than welcome to keep them.
