Crashes in shop/roumen?? (Apoline)

I've been getting repeated messages about a 'buffer overrun' or something whenever I set up shop in roumen today. Don't know what the deal is, but judging by the lack of other shops, I'd guess other people have been having the same problem. Could you look into this? Thanks ^^

There's about a dozen topics on this.

In general the bug happens around the smith in Roumen. It can happen however anywhere in Roumen or Elderin.

If you have two accounts you can have the bug happen on one account but not other. If you have multiple characters on the same account if one is affected by that bug all characters on that account will be affected by it.

It has been noted that the areas these buffer overuns most likely are to occur are the areas where the gold website spammers are standing and spamming. However it has also been noted that even after the spammer gets booted by the buffer overrun the area they were spamming at remains a 'bad spot' and likely to cause people to get the error even without the spammer still there spamming.

What has not been found is a comprehensive way of fixing this issue so the issue remains unsolved.

Yup..

I have the same problem as well.

Trying to open the shop near the Smith.. and after 10 min it crashed with buffer overrun error..

Apoline server as well..

does it only happen in apoline though?

I was going to say "read my signature" but I just realised that I never specifically said in that post on this thread that I had experienced it also. So, no, it's not just Apoline it also happens in at least also the Teva server.
