Hello, I just started today as well.

Unfortunatly you won't be able to get any skills until you gain some levels. To get some levels (from 1-10) do the quests you are given. After you do that, and when you hit level 16 you will be able to do your class quest.

You will be asked to collect some jewel shards to create a jewel and to return. Once you've done that you will then be able to choose which class you think fits you best.

And as soon as you're finished choosing your class, you will get a whole new set of equipent and 2 new skills. (You are a lot more powerful now. :P)

There's also a Skill Book Merchand in the middle of the town, where you can buy your skills after lvl 16. But at the beginning you need only the 2 skills which you'll get at the
1st job change.

Check your map when your in arcanus square [or something] which is where you start off.

There should be a guy called : skill master

he sells skills for fighters/rogues, not sure about the rest

This varies with the class:

Acolyte: 3 skills(Spirit, Healing SKill and Illusion Quake)
Fighter: 1 skill (Thrust)
Magician: 2 skills.(Mind Buster and Ice Magic)
Rogue: ? (No idea, haven't played it yet)

Secondary class:
Predictor(Force Blast, Assist heal, Brace up and Protection)
Archer: ?(No idea, same as rogue.)
