What Is The Maximum Mentality To Add In S/A/R?

Does Adding Agility Helps With Mentality Skill Spam Attacks?

Most scouts/archer/rangers I know max out their MEN around 30-32. It seems adding more than this doesn't increase your spamming speed anymore.

As a related aside (skip if you don't care, and correct me if I'm wrong)... This max MEN is related to the attack animation: you cannot attack faster than the animation allows. Since archers have a short skill animation, we benefit from adding MEN. Other classes have longer animations, so they reach their "maximum spamming speed" at a much lower MEN. So really, the archer is the only class that really benefits from this stat.

And yes, AGI increases spam speed as well, but it takes many more AGI points to increase it.

When you 1st go scout, I would recommend only adding maybe 10 MEN (rest POW) initially, and building from there. If you are using spark cash, and have goodies like a red bell or horror mask, you can start with some more MEN since you have items compensating for your lack of POW.

Ayanami-chan has most of it covered. (She does know SAR class pretty much through and through, so you can take her advice as golden.)

One thing omitted is NUMBERS. MEN affects skill spamming speed in increments of 8, while AGI does so in increments of 24. So if you do plan on adding AGI to your build to the tune of 24 points or more, 24 MEN will be enough. Otherwise, go for the 32. (I personally don't recommend exceeding 16 AGI if you go with 32 man, however, as your attacks won't be as strong as they could be.)

I have an SC scout on one server and an SC-less Scout on the other. The SC Scout started at 16 MEN and the SC-less Scout started at 8. Both seem to work quite well. Don't bother rushing to exceed 24 MEN before Archer level, you'll only end up with a very-low-caliber machine gun as a character.
