The suppy and demand
I know outspark wants to grow and in such increase the over all game play and income with the growing age of MMORPG's in the twenty-first century it is becomming a constant upriseing of new ideas mixed with old trying to keep one step ahead of the rest. With so many different players it becomes difficult to make everyone happy so the Many out weight the Few, with the growing age of MMORPG's these are the hack and slash players, the economy players and the story line, instant players. I know some of these suggestions will never make it to Outspark's games do to the difficulty it can be to produce and maintain sme of them but these suggestions will encourage outspark to open up to the wider selection of players weather they utilize it into one New game or take these suggestions peice by peice in already functioning MMO's they have in effect.
Economy players- These players enjoying the game for its economy spicificly, these players will go out and hunt for games like duco (sp) But if you take the few secelt things they look for and add it in it draws in the economy players and opens up new items to sell in the cash shop's also.
- They Enjoying Crafting mostly gear and weapons, things others players will want or need.
- these requires adding patterns and mats to drop off mobs ( after all we want them to level up)
- they want set gear like green and blues ( make purple patterns and mats only asselable by the cash shop)
Hack and slash players- we all know'em they just like to grab a sword and slash away at anything and everything! The only thing that discourages a hack and slash player is lack of rewards and slow progress, the average players in a MMO is about 50% starting off as such before they progress into another catagory after a few years of playing. But we all have some hack and slash in us still!
- generally easy to please like good gear and weapon drops mostly.
- doesnt like long leveling sessions unless they have personaly goals.
Story line/Instant players- These are the players who like a good read! They wanna follow the story line some even wanna roleplay it with groups and friends. These are amoung the few bu still a very selective bunch when it comes to game selctions like the economy players that are rising up.
- these guys and girls tend to be the most likely guild/clan leaders/ officers. They like to have a hand in the control seat and encourage others to enjoy the game for what it is.
- They enjoy Instances with Boss battles, rare finds and orginizion in who gets what gradually leveling there guild players.
- They Never travel ALONE!!! least if they can help it lol
- they will often wanna be the best and try the to beat everything you toss at them to say they did it and know it ^.^ this is why they tend to be leaders to help others with aid and knowledge.
For all-
-The growing deletion of individual shops has been depleting over the year instead of pixels and unneeded lag in one area many have thought to add the addtion of a Market place also know as an auction house, this again is difficult to make but it offers All players and even and stable economy and easy sales from the economy players to the instant and hack and slash to want to sell and trade with others more easily. ( this is also a high in demand out look for resent MMO's expanding into this for any outspark game will impress and increase player.)
-The PvE ( players vs enviroment) vs the PvP( players vs players), Every Free MMO out there is forced PvP 80% of the time. This discurages alot of players, most pay to play now are offereing options to bring in the PvE players relizing justy how many there really are now, with the ideas of Arena battles or select battle ground areas that are optional for those who wanna PvP and draw in the PvE players. The more wealthy ones make select servers for it, which is costly but not required.
Thats my over all suggestions for outspark I hope it gives you some ideas of your own and the driveing desire to keep progressing to clime the chain of MMO's
As for SoS my only suggestion is the main site needs more work.
-It needs more detail about the game itself.
-I wanna read on the side bar about any crafting systems if any
-how pvp works or if there is any besides going to the forums.
-People like to read about the game and characters what level would Xenian become another class... what class is after that class and that class, are there requirments for each class?
-A peek at the skills and books for the classes be nice, a peak at the gear and weapons, some GM screen Shots of gear or sets?
-that AGI also affects dodge-
-more information on the class changes for people to read on the main site.
**You have the information of the forums bundle it and paste it rather then have it all over the place, it will help orginize the floods on forums as well of repeatable posting. The main site really needs a write up from the creators to help new players learn what to expect and what to plan for. You have the players information, utilize it, compress it and expand it for everyone to see it face front rather then hunt down 47 pages of 1 area forums for ideas on where to start. If it is good enough to sticky isnt it good enough to expand it into the sites beginners guides?
