This error has happened three times in the last 10 minutes. It is a runtime error that comes when I try to enhance anything more than once. The enhancement still occurs. But the game shuts down completely. I can immediately log back in and the game works until I try to enhance something again.

I did a quick Search by putting "Runtime Error" into the line and restricted it to "Search Titles Only" selection to narrow it down. The above link lead me to a better understanding of the Runtime Error and what may or may not be causing it for you. Hope it helps.

I am getting the same error in town, multiple times within minutes, and I'm not upgrading anything.
I am searching the forums, but I wonder if this isn't connected to the gold shop spamming. Every time this starts happening to me is when I'm in town trying to sell something. Chatspam gets worse and worse, and I (and others!) start dropping.
It seems to me to be worse if I am in proximity to the spammer--I have noticed that when I log back in and go to where the spammer is, there is what appears to be a circle around them where no one has a shop, though there were shops all over there just a few minutes previous.
My conclusions could be wrong, but this is just something I've observed.
