Lost in translation or purpose

I knew about sots guild's structure and function. I don't believe there are any guild quests yet, or at least any that I'm familiar with. So what is the purpose of any guild? In other online multi's, guilds have group quests for reputation, valuables, and advancement in the game. I believe the guild structure in sots will have function in the future, and perhaps their own 'Guild Halls' for a meeting place to discuss future events, like a guild vs boss character for guild exp and treasures. I've stated in another post why I started my guild, and some of you responded in kind. At any given time, you can see alot of characters in Bryn, that have switched membership from one guild to another, or have started their own. In the past week or so, I've seen at least three new guilds pop up, and with some familiar faces belonging to them. Not every guild is successful in getting that 'core of friends' that stay in a guild, and it's up to the guild master to keep it together. As a guild master, my guildies levels aren't important to me, or that they log in everyday, or have to contribute to the contents in the vault, or pay an initiaion fee. I will run DreamWeavers as I originally intended, 'as a group of friends' that get together, when they can, to have fun. I've kicked my share of guildies, and for a variety of reasons. But we've maintained a core of 20 or so players, perhaps fewer by tomorrow. I know this sounds like a guild 'plug' but it isn't intended to be, it's just an observation of the guilds and their functions presently in Solstice. I welcome the day when the guild exp is in operation, or we have guild quests.

YAH, IN PERFECT WORLD, GUILDS, CALLED "FACTIONS", GET TO TAKE OVER TERRITORIES, MAKE MONEY OFF THEM AND STUFF. GUILDS ACTUALLY COULD LVL UP, AND I NOTICE THAT HIGHER LVL "FACTIONS", GET TO HAVE MORE PPL IN THEM (WHICH I THINK, WOULD ACTUALLY BE BAD, LIKE, GUILD CHAT GETS REAL CONFUSING REALLY FAST WITH A GUILD THAT HAS ALOT OF PPL). IN SOLSTICE HERE....... THEY HAVE THE GUILD SKILL THING, THAT DOESNT OPERATE YET, AND THAT TEASING THING THAT SAYS THE GUILD IS LVL 1. WHICH HAS ALWAYS BOTHERED ME, I MADE GUILD 8 FOREVVVEEERRRR AGO, AND I WANTS LVL 2 :O GUILD QUESTS WOULD BE FUN, I GUESS THE AVERAGE LVL OF THE GUILD MEMBERS WOULD DECIDE WHT KINDA MAP YUU GO TO FOR THE QUEST?, WOULDNT BE FAIR IF THE SAME MAP, SINCE SOME GUILDS HAV WAY LOWER LVL PPL THAN OTHERS. WELL Marzdon, I WANT MORE GUILD ASSOCIATED STUFF TOO! :O

hehehe unlike shooter i WANT to be able to add more ppl in guild... 40 at least. thats a good number xD the bunnies had to open sister guild cause ppl were wanting in >.< so thats the reason for at least ONE new guild xD lol but yeah it would be pretty awesome to see something new for guilds soon. SoS has come a long way within just a few months... maybe we'll see some kind of update soon =)

HAHA, MOMO, A LITTLE MOR THAN 25 WOULD B NICE, BUT IN PERFECT WORLD, IT STARTS OFF WITH YUU BEING ABLE TO HAV, 30SOMETHING PPL, MAYBE IT WAS 40, HAVNT LOGGED N IT FOR WEEKS, SO THATS Y I MEAN ITS TOO MUCH, CUZ THEY CAN GET TO LIKE, 100PPL N A GUILD, WHICH IS REALLY RIDICULOUS. CAN YUU IMAGINE HOW MUCH YUR CHAT BOX WOULD B CLOGGED UP?, HAHA. I THINK THE 25 THING SHOULD B A TEENSY HIGHER, CAUSE I DO LIKE HAVING ALL MY ALTS, AND SOME OF THE MEMBERS ALTS IN ALSO :p
