I think there should be a way to view what kind of class and level people are. Abbreviations like (lvl 22) with a letter corresponding to their class. Fighter = F
Rogue = R etc.. and if the upgrade class or another class is interacting with the letter and is already taken, goto the next letter, and letter after that. Or even categorizing an entire line of classes like F1 would be a regular fighter, F2 knight, F3 warrior, and F4 warlord.. etc. (What is everyone elses oppinions?)

It would be nice but more for Parties... I find it annoying to not be able to tell character levels of your party members.

its very annoying not knowing what players lvls are. Our party yesterday group lvl range was 35-41 we picked up our last member who said he was a soso rogue (cant remember) after some later we found out he was lyin to mooch from our xp. it would benefit everyone to be able to know what lvl they are and possible inspect what gear they are sporting. even as a last resort be a /who soso and pull up there info wouldnt be so bad more of a hassle but at least we would know.

Just here to show backup for this idea. I've been only in the game for a short time, but already I find the lack of level (or other information) about the characters around you annoying. Perhaps an option to make your stats (level/class/(experience till next level)) be shown, or not, according to your own preferences?

Showing it off would really help other players and so for leveling...

yea if you really did not want people to know your level (afriad of being ask for kron/ items groups) create a /anon command that when someone types /who slayernk it would bring back slayernk lvl ???. or when anon isnt on it would come back slayernk lvl 37 magician (currently my lvl) i think that would help alot of people out.

I'm glad you all agree with it. And you have all gave good pointers which are great. Especially the one where you don't want to be bugged for money by lower levels, but that'd be a bonus :)

well, apparently the issue isn't just level indicators, so let me hook in here:
1) it would be nice to be able to evenly distribute (piecked up)moneys across all team-members.
2)It isn't really needed to have a class-indicator in most cases, but when they're wearing fancy suits... :/
3) level-indications: Typically, though, it would be very convenient for people to have some sort of color-coding as with enemies... not constantly, but just to check.
like various gradations of green, each shade meaning ~5 levels below you. and shades of red for every ~5 levels above yours. (a minimum of 3 would be nice)

cant remember any other good ideas right now... sorry

That's a pretty good idea. I like it. It gives the privacy for those who want to keep their levels on the d/l. (people like me. lol) It doesn't give off the exact level , but gives you a general sense on what level that person is. ^^

thats a good idea. but i usually ask my party memebers when i join or when they join what their lvls are. the color coding thing is cool too. and Mkor to distrubute items bring up the party window and check the box that says to randomly distribute items among party memebers. that helps. it doesn't matter who picks it up, it'll be distributed randomly...

Random is random and by definition, random! This means that it is inherently unfair. Although it is slightly fairer towards acos and mages, ANY sort of randomness is prone to individual starvation (meaning that some people essentially get nothing while others get the good stuff.)

The money-modifier would be _fairer_, because it shares money *equally* among all party-members, depositing what couldn't be shared equally to the person who picked it up OR giving this remainder randomly to one of the party-members.

it would be better if the armors or weapon of different levels can be seen clearly in the avatar so we will have an idea or estimate of his or her level.
