Hmmm... that's a good question. I can't answer though, since I have yet to really play my archer. I'll get back to you on that.

The one downside of my build out-DPSing mages and other archers of the same level, is that I always draw the aggro of bosses in KQs. Bad if there are not enough clerics in the raid! :(

Me at lvl 31 has 800 or so sp. So no.
All classes are hard to lvl up.
And they have strong skills. Just not enough of them.

archer lack of dmg true... but their skills don't the posion and bleed makes up for the dmg compared to other jobs u could see the dmg "numbers" on top of the monsters go up and fast like crazy if u used posion and bleed and your shots together ^^

i'm with you on that Daigotsu, especially if the crit rain kicks in... i have to run like hell! :D worst thing for me as an archer is... the clerics can outrange us with a heal spell... >_< i mean, we should have one of the longest ranges right?

You realize why mages are stronger right?

Fact: Mages have catalyst use their most basic attack

Fact: Archers don't have catalyst to do even their most basic attack

Fact: Mages with out SP are useless

Fact: Archers with out SP don't change

yes yes us mages are pathetic without sp hahahaha :rolleyes: our skills are kinda messed up as well a lvl 2 fire ball for a beggining mage uses less sp then the defualt fire ball
fireball 1 = 8 sp
fireball 2 = 7 sp rofl
and my ice spell takes up 21 sp at lvl 2
oh and the cool time is annoying hahaha can't always be casting spells aparently :rolleyes:

Actually they are quite balenced between HP/SP at the later levels

EG:Wintergreen with 1.1k hp and sp.

Edit: Chris is right, archers have the lowest amount of skills, then cleric, fighter, and mage at the highest.

Yea just use a speed scroll and u have the fastest soloer
But also iN my opinion the most useless in parties.(unless u want a boss kill)

Probably the worst for archer is laziness:D

We dont have weak skills or slow to level or any of these crap. its just the player who handles them.;)

Yea...We are not slow at lvling neither do we have weak skills.
Its just the absence of so many skills we Should have.
