I don't want to cause a controversy* here. This post contains MY oppinion which may or may not be that of the populous. My problem with the current leveling system is that it's a grind fest. KQ gives too much experience and should be calculated differently, and normal monsters don't give enough so I offer a solution. New experience equations.


<u>Exp to next level</u>


10 + (level - 0.5 ^ level) ^3


Naturally this equation would be rounded down. And people may look at that and say, HOLY CRAP THE GROWTH RATE ON THAT IS HUGE and you are right. The experience equation though would be considered as this though:


<u>Experience from Monsters</u>


((level * monster.level - 1.5 ^ (level - monster.level) + 1) * 0.35) ^ 2+ 1


This equation would also be rounded down but would offer a very good solution to the current problem.


PK exp could be calculated using the same equation as that from monsters, maybe even multipled by an amount to make it more worth while since PK fights would last longer and would cost more for the person on each side but as stated with that, it could be abused.


The equation for monster experience is good because it CAN go into the negatives.* At this point, a person would not lose exp, the exp would be turned into 0 and the exp gained would be nothing.


Now as I stated, KQ's currently give WAY too much experience and should be calculated differently. Think along the lines of exp gained depending on level.


<u>Experience from KQ</u>


Using the equation from above, the experience needed to go from level 7 to 8 would be 351 experience.


To make the experience gained from successfully completing the KQ, you first take your level, multiply it by 3/4 and square that product, then divide it by the minimum level of the KQ (in this case 7) squared.* You then multiply that number by the experience of the minimum level.


(10 + (minimumlevel - 0.5 ^ minimumlevel) ^ 3) * ((level * 0.75) ^ 2 / minimumlevel ^ 2)


At level 7 a KQ would give you 197 experience (this equation would be rounded down as well) which is approximately 56.1% of a level at level 7. At level 16 a KQ would give you 1034 experience which is approximately 25.2%.


This would help balance out the experience gains throughout the game. An example experience table would look like this:

Just a note on the post above, the exp table is for when fighting monsters your level. Exp changes based on the level of the monster that you are fighting, whether it is higher or lower.

It's a balanced plan that doesn't compromise the newbie player's ability to enjoy themselves early on in the game. Grinding towards later levels isn't fun, but this is a reasonable route since you still have to work a pretty long time, but not for days or weeks like other MMORPGs do.


Everything about EXP gain seems very wild and unbalanced, and this aims to fix that. Please consider; make it fair!

They defiantly need to sort this leveling business out or I'm not going to play the game if it's a grind fest.

@Nocnitsa: its not really a grind fest since there is a kingdom quest in the game. each time u do it, u gonna lvl up n u can do it as many times u want to.
