The game hasn't evolved to the point that it will run on Linux or Mac.

Personally I think that Linux would be a better target platform than Mac.
Because I use Linux and I want it to run on Linux! *stomps foot* (Ubuntu please)
I hate that everyone is stuck in the past programming for "Windows"!

Linux should be the new universal gaming platform since it is available to everyone for free and not just those that can afford to pay for it and maintain it like Mac OS or "Windows".
Let "Windows" stay strictly a business OS and let Linux be the OS for the rest of us.
