Declining a sale

I dunno how to title this, but this issue has been bugging me for a while.

If you are making a sale with someone and you decide - for whatever reason (the price is too low/high/you're going to give it to that random stranger who just passed by) - please don't go dead on the line. Just say 'no thanks' or something else. Often, when ppl yell, you have three or four insistant ppl wanting to sell or buy whatever it is you yelled about. It's rude to both the person you'd just talked to and the people waiting.

That's the problem with a free market. No binding contract to sell or trade, just going off by a verbal agreement. Which is in most cases, pretty good to go by. But then you always have those people who changed their minds last minute. (Like, The other day I was gonna trade my black attack wings for white attack.. but the guy changed his mind last minute and decided to trade it for xens instead after waiting a few hours to trade lol :S..).

Yeah, those situations happened to me countless of times when it HAD to happen at the last second... As Mikitan said, that's the problem of a free market =/ though, I wouldn't want a fixed market lol! That wouldn't be fun xD

Lol agreed. xDD~ I've played other mmo's -- where they have auction houses, and everything was set at fixed prices. No matter how rare or common an item was, it only went up as much as it was demanded. :33

I don't mean like that. I mean like:

Me: how much are ya selling ___ for?
Them: Make an offer.
Me: 5 mil
Them: -silence-
Me [three minutes later]: Well?
Them: I'm not selling at that price.

And i think, well TELL ME SO WE CAN NEGOTIATE or so I can buy them from these other people who are PMing me.

That's what I mean. I get that almost everytime I shout. Just TELL me no. Don't leave me hanging.

I love when you shout for something you are selling and get 40+ responses. I hate wasting yellow eggs and use less than 3 a week on average (love wasting 100-500 white eggs a week). Pains me when I need to use another yellow egg to say deal is done and sorry could not get to all of you, but what are you gonna do?

Playing the economy in this game is quite fun due to being an open market, despite the annoying deal breaks and last second price increases. Capitalism rules!

As I said (if you read the thread) deal breaking and price changes doesn't bother me. It doesn't bother me when someone get's swamped and they don't respond. It bothers me when I'm talking to someone and they just go silent instead of simply saying NO or too low/ high, etc. It's plain rude and has nothing to do with Capitalism. It has to do with bad manners.

I agree with that, i have made some trade with some people that have somewhat refuse the trade at the last sec or refuse the deal and cancel the trade before he answer ''sorry, that's too low'' because either the other person dosen't care if he or she sell at high price or the person want something u don't have for trade. It kinda rude when someone dosen't respond when u make a deal with the other person and she goes afk for few mins after come back and close the trade window and be answer rudely ''that's too low! ><''

or this, i hear that comment before:

''I do what i want, if i want to sell at high price i will do it whathever u want or not. I don't make charity and if i want to rip off the other person, then i don't mind at all.''

or this:

''I you're not glad with the price of your items, go farm your own items and quit your whining, the price not gonna change.''

As i said up there, theser comments are really rude when u made a trade with those person and they respond this.

No question that people goign afk during deals is annoying. For me, it happens when I shout and get tons of offers and people are like ***?

Other times, when you supposedly close a deal and the person logs off or goes afk or something. That is quite annoying. Even worse when they run circles around you and don't respond to you. Then, the 21 pie salute begins.

I wish there was an enemy list in this game to go along with the friend list.
