Inventory Glitch?

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but when I pull up my inventory screen for my character, I can't see how many of each item I'm carrying. When I go to deposit what I though was one potato in the Inn, it tells me I dropped of 7.
This makes the game much more difficult, please see what you can do, or let me know if my account is buggy or something.
