Character Wipe Out Issue GM pls Confirm!!!

So far the game is awesome I really like this game. Graphics sound and set-up is good. My only worry is that after the closed beta. Lots of people told that there will be a wiped out. Is it true?

I hope Gm or any staff of the game will confirm this one. Coz even now there is no confirmation. Im verry worried

i expect they'll probally make lots of changes inbetween the CB and OB so a wipe is pretty important, especially if things like hows stats work and such is changed.

Yep and if there is a wipe then there's a wipe and if not then there isn't. Begging to know won't help much anyway. The best bet is to enjoy what CB, because after it the server or servers will be filled with millions of people! O_O;

I can understand the wipe and know why. From to many changes to fixs and have to change, but i don't think they should have it. I know in fact alot of people well leave after the wipe just becuase all the time and leveling you do it feels like a waste. To know for fact or not would really be great but i think the gms and such are afraid if they do say there is a wipe people wont play any more "Whats the point"

I may seem greedy but if they do a wipe then they should allow us to have something. Keep our names, Items, Money, or just give us a speical item only for those CB testers who spent there time doing this. Don't even put the its not fair card becuase thats all bull crap. Making it fair my *** i mean all you well do is baby the noobs and do no one any help.Thats like complaning and say gms are not fair becuase there all powerful "Duh they are". Fair my butt no wipe well be becuase of that more like what others said about changes and so forth. If you do a wipe you better remember us gms and staff. Remember the Closed beta testers who have played and leveled here. Remember those who well disappear after the closed beta if you don't reconize us and are work!!

I don't see why people are making a big deal if there's a server wipe and you have to start over. What's wrong with that? I mean to get to the level you are now, you trained hard, sure. If you did it with a bunch of friends, do it again. It's still fun right? If you didn't do it with friends, I'm sure you made some by now to tag along with.

I think MMORPGs, especially ones like this, are more about the social aspect than 'I'm at level 99 and can kick everyone's ***. Woo.' I know not every player is like myself but I like to party with a bunch of friends and explore outside the city on fields and dungeons because it becomes more than just training. And it doesn't make a difference whether you're at a low level or high level. Sure, you may miss somethings like cool skills or a nice job class if you reached Archer/Predictor, but it's not such a huge difference to utterly ruin the experience.

And besides, if you like this game, whynot go through it all over again? It's the same as finishing your favorite video game and wanting to play through the entire thing again. Or maybe you can look at it as a chance to try something new. If a lot of people leave SoS because of a wipe, I think that's just stupid. If you like the game, stick with it.

The Secret of the Solstice is in close BETA. Generally when a game is in BETA is just to test the load on the servers. There has been no announcement made regarding character wipe. Until we announce that there will be a character wipe we do not plan on it.

That could explain some events, like the "fill the town with many spawns and many players" ones. ;) I missed the last one because of work, how did everything fare? Was there very much lag? Clients hold up okay?
