My mage just hit level 20. I'm trying to battle my shadow but he lays me out early with his 4400 hp and skills I don't have yet. Should I go and level up to like 25 - 30 and then go and dance with my shadow? I've read your guide and followed it but the end results me getting warpped back to Roumen. I even tried using the very first staff to soften his blows! I can't get any buffs to take me to at least 1000 hp.

no no. what i do to beat it. its really easy.

ok so what u do. right before u enter the cave thingy take off EVERYTHING. clothes weapon etc. and when u warp in there ur shadow coppies u so he has nothing and then you quickly put everything back on. and he is now only punching you. so then u hit him then he runs. and before you face him the second time, you take everything off again and just repeat what i said and there u go! :) :) :D

Just wondering... how'd u die when it didnt have a weapon?
I suggest getting some T1 scrolls and going in again. maybe you'll get lucky, but mage is that hardest to do that with.

This is exactly what you do.
Get a buff, buy some t1 hp pots or make them.
if you can afford it get a t2 p scroll on.
once inside and your at the end, kill all monsters atacking you first.
Then go for him, spam yor t1 hp pots and stones.

have u watched vid of what i did?
i mean i did it with no buffs,scrolls,stat points,empowerments, and no sc

just get buff, and get t1vit,def,Mdef,eva scrolls
get max hp/sp stones, get like a stack of t1 hp potions

make sure you are using updated equips, i dont see how you can fail after that + watching video and copying what i did.
make sure to watch your hp, never o below 1/2 hp. when you hit 1/2 use a stone/pot

Just spam t1 potion. I make some mini mages and can go through with nothing but npc white. One hand on all the skill, the other hand keep pressing t1 hp potion.

I'm going to watch the vid. When I tried the ' no weapon ' he still had magic and beat me with one shot.[ maybe it was a temp bug or something ]

did the quest with npc gears yesturday Oo full int build too so not that easy for me lol. I tried recording it but it wouldn't work for me for some reason. But yeah, get t1 def, vit, mdef and agility should help as well. t1 hp pots is a major for mages. Get atleast 20. Another tip is killing the marlone fighter and archer in the room where it gets dark. Saves ya the trouble of having to kill them in the last room.

All you need is a buff , pots ,and stones

Scrolls if you want more protection.
