I just noticed that SoS is in closed beta and was wondering somehting.

Its letting me download so does that mean im in or can you download even if you cant play?

well rodaa it is in closed beta too open new servers we will be on later this week sry you was not pick for closed beta but we will definetly make it worth the wait ty sos staff

Um....yes... That made no sense to me either. I know you already got your answer, Rodaa, but I'm going to answer anyways here so that anyone else looking at this thread will get the information they need.

Yes, there is a glitch that allows the client to be DL'd even if you haven't received your cbt invite yet. However, this does not mean that you have received an invite, merely that you got a glitch and were allowed to DL the client despite not being permitted to join the cbt.

On a personal note, if you got this glitch, I would suggest refraining from taking advantage of it and actually making a toon and playing. Request an invite and wait politely, if you're really interested in the game and supporting the people that are working on getting it set up, then please don't screw around with their cbt. A cbt is for the sole purpose of finding out what bugs there are and playing it just to play it without an invite is quite simply rude. :)

one problem with what you said Adipocere
If you request an invite your not gonna get it, the GM's seem to give out the invites randomly, requesting an invite is just gonna make you look like a noob.

Yes, it's random, but I don't see how requesting an invite makes one look like a "noob." Personally, I would like to join the cbt and I see nothing wrong with anyone expressing an interest in doing so.

Nothing wrong with requesting one, but there is a manner of which to do it in.

it makes you appear somewhat noobish in the fact that you've failed to notice that in nearly every invite me please topic theres usually a reply stating why thats not the way to get an invite. Yet they dont stop coming.

Though we all have diffrent views on what we consider noobish. I've had to deal with alot of Noobs with my time on Forums and MMORPGS...
