Random thought here...
I know some people, myself included, would rather keep our old class' look after class change while also acquiring the new class' abilities and armor. Some posts suggested you be able to get the new skills and armor without class change so as to keep your old look. That would probably take quite a bit of work, given you would have to go through and change all the items and skills past level 65/79.
In order to satisfy these needs, I propose that class costumes be put into the cash shop. Basically, you could be an Archmage, but look like an Apprentice. However, this would not work backwards. For example, you couldn't start out a newbie Apprentice and go through the cash shop and think "That looks cool!" and then suddenly you look like an Archmage casting Mindbuster. They would be level limited like the weapons. As in; as you change class, the new class' costume becomes available.
Example:
Apprentice's Robe: Lv16 and Up
Mage's Robe: Lv66 and Up
Wizard's Robe: Lv96 and Up
There's no point in the final class costume since you should have that anyway.
Also suggested that you make them available as straight-buy perms while offering the 7 and 30 day versions as well. Reason for straight-buy perms idea is because unless they want it bad enough, they aren't going to buy Lucky Balls to get it. I mean come on, pay over $50 for something that's available in-game? I think not. But if they're readily available for about 10k SparkCash, people would feel more apt to buy them. Plus, everybody wants to play n00b for the day.

I think the best solution is to set a NPC who allows u to change ur class clothes to (and only) a previous class of ur branch for an amount of kron, similar to the hair style change, for example:
- A Warlord could wear Warlord, Warrior, Knight & Squire clothes.
- A Warrior could wear Warrior, Knight & Squire clothes.
- A Knight could wear Knight & Squire clothes.
That'd solve the skills issue as well, and I dont think it should be a SC solution.
Adios!

Mm... I still like the idea of being able to wear armor for the class you should be in if you choose to continue on without class changing. I like being a Neo. Skills... maybe not, but I do like Circle Trap. ^^'
But it's a good idea I suppose. Maybe a slight color alternation in the armor so we can tell if it's an Apprentice for an example and not a Wiz wearing an Apprentice costume? I don't know.
I do like the idea though.

Of course I'd much rather it be free, but you know how Outspark can be sometimes. It's pretty much gotten to where, if we want it then we have to pay for it.
Although they might would go for having the original costumes free in-game like hairstyles and also have other color variations of said costumes in the Cash Shop. Speaking of hair, they might should consider putting in some more styles. The ones we have now are getting quite repetitive. Character style modification is a big money maker in any game after all. I'm actually surprised they didn't add a premium hair-style thing close to when the SC Shop was released back in January 2008.

Hairstyles that you don't need mixed mode for. What they have now are basically wigs. Having the ability to have a different hairstyle while also using your normal armor helm and that nice perm headpiece you worked so hard for. Take Fiesta for example. In their shop you'll find a premium beauty coupon which allows you to change your hairstyle permenantly to one your choosing. Something along those lines.

You know, the easiest way for them to implement the class costume thing you are taking about, is to let us use in-game stuff in the mix-mode part of our character. So like, I could use the robin hood hat in the mixed mode costume section of equipment, and the hat I need for defense in my normal equimpment section. They wouldn't need to add any new items at all. Just make in-game stuff usable in Mixed Mode. This would be awesome with wings too. There are a lot of people who love the look of the wings, but unless you were lucky enough to get defense wings, need the defense of their cape more. If you could use the wings in Mixed Mode, and the cape in Normal Mode, you could have the best of both worlds.

Then they would have to make it where your old armor would affect what you look like also. Instead of that, they could put a n00b Tailor in the game as well right beside the Hairstylist and make it like 50k or so, which shouldn't be to expensive for what your getting. Plus, clothes are more expensive than a haircut...
What I do like, and have thought of myself, is the weapon, back, face, and eye mixed mode capability. I'd like to wear wings because of their epicness, but at the same time I'd like to have my cape for the extra defense. Weapon mixed mode would make the SC weapons semi-useful even after you've outgrown the stats it gives by letting you wield your new weapons while maintaining the look of the SC weapon. Example of that would be the Dragon Bow. It's practically useless after lv54 and 9 levels in the current game is not very hard to acquire. Heck, we took a level 16 apprentice and it was a Mage within 24 hours.

I like the idea... :o
It would save me lots of time having to look through my hotel looking for way to look more noob... xD
And it'd be really cool to see someone try to bully the app only to find out that appy's actually an archmage... xDDD

I completely agree. The top 2 final classes seem to look.. ridiculous. Also some low classes look rather lame but I guess it's to be expected.. like how a squire looks like a toy soldier, and a neo looks like a gypsy pirate. What's with their bandannas and green pants? Kinda feels as if the people in charge of making the higher level classes were trying to make gundam wings with some of them.
Also agree on being able to dye your clothes, and having more hair styles.. We have a total number of what? 3 Hair styles and 3 colors? That's like 9 different choices all together. I don't believe we *need* to pay $$$ to look unique in our own way. Aka kung fu hair, and other op'ed item mall gear.. so it seems they are at low levels.
Would also like to see different styles of faces, that'd be cool. We look like penguins imo, but eh. If they do release more faces/hairs, all the characters that's already been created should get their first make over, free :P
Let's see.. sum it up, more hair styles, colors, faces, dye able clothes, and ability to keep your old look would be great. Maybe nerf the items in the item mall *cough cough* *hides*

I know I'd prefer my Squire to retain its Squire costume even as a Warlord. I'd also like my Wizard to be able to regain its Mage look.
As far as the SC/No SC thing goes. Unfortunately, we can't please everybody, and the ones we have to please in order to get what we want is Outspark.
I'd rather not pay real cash for basic character customization. Even a certain old, long-running Free-to-Play Java game comes to mind. There's quite a few hairstyles on there, each available in about 10 different colors. Not to mention you can mix and match your outfit for a more personalized look.
