The New Server?

So the PvP server poll was removed from the list of stickies in this forum, did we decide that the new server will be PvP?

I'll be very suprised if they introduce 2 new servers it will most likely be the 1 PvP server from what I've gathered.

You have 2 polls made by a GM near the same time following talks about a new server so there probably will be only 1 new server and it will be the PvP server.

That's what Silky said when he closed that thread, and following the pattern of every one of his other posts, this doesn't really say what OS is thinking at all...just seems to be pointing out the excruciatingly obvious : /

I can't see them forking out money for 2 additional servers it's not the Outspark attitude we have grown to hate but I'll believe it when I see it.

If you assume that the two servers are going to be released back to back, yes, it does seem like antithesis to OS's routine.

If you treat it like a cap raise (we get things in parts), then that's more of what they would do. A new regular server will probably be soon. A PvP server will probably be by this time next year.

Right, but based off of the most recent information we have received from OS staff, there will only be one - a new regular server.

Taking into account the overwhelming votes for a PvP server, I doubt that's a cash cow they'll ignore for long.
