*first ever chat wars on the forum has not yet been proven
Hi everyone, I'm pretty sure most of you have seen my username for a couple of seconds before! (:P)
Basically, this is a war of chat, hence the name, Chat Wars.
How to Play
This is a game of typing by using attacks to opponents through forums. Each player uses an item or skill on a different player. There are lots of different rounds with different goals.
The main thing you do is type an attack at an opponent (example: I through my anvil to hurt (yes, this seems boring and random, but most attacks in "Chat Wars" will consist of these types of things)).
*Warning* Please, nothing too insane.
Also, watch out for cool events, they can benefit you if you use it the right way.
At the Start
Each player starts off with "3 Shootable Spikes" an item that causes 25 damage to a Chat Opponent, however, you don't need to use this, as this is an "anything goes" game with some exceptions. You will also start off with 100 silver, a common currency in Fiesta. The last thing you start off with is a "Small Chat Card", an item you use to attack an opponent with anything that you think will cause small damage (100 or less). I will decide the damage amount, if the damage amount goes over 100 in this case, 10% of the damage will be inflicted to yourself. You can also block, which halves the damage of an item (0-3 minute time span) block 25% of it (3:01-5 minute time span) or block 10% of it (6-10 minute time span) If you block after 10 minutes, no damage will be lessend. Don't forget to punch, punch only does 5 damage, but completely breaks a shield.
*Tip* Try double-teaming an opponent by using a punch with someone else's item attack so that they take full damage of something that could have 50% of it's damage blocked.
*Tip* You cannot block attacks used by chat cards or punches.
*Tip* If you run out of items, the only thing you can do is: Block (as previously mentioned) or punch, it only does 5 damage, not that much. (also, purchasing items are available)
Rules
1. No more than 3 people can attack a player at once, if there are more than 3 people attack one person, the latest attack will be nulled.
2. You can only block one attack, and it is the first attack thrown at you (unless it is a block). If the first attack is a chat card attack, well... you can't block. :P
