Refinement system needs major work

It's a joke. Point blank. It's nearly impossible to even afford +3 when you get into your thirties. I just lost my Zest wand from the zombie king using a BLESSED stone just tryin to go from 0 --> +1. So I pulled out my old weapon which was + 2 and used up the rest of my blessed stones and took it from +2 down to +0. Ya. Thanks a lot. There is no need to make the low levels of refinement so freakin difficult.

Some advice dont use normal stones to enhance...stick to blessed or luckys blesseds are my faves and are more reliant if you ask me.

Ok well your fault for spending that much have soem self restraint? its not REQUIRED to enhance ya know? it may give a small edge but I wouldnt suggest enhancing till around 50+ because those will be your slowest levels literally 1-50 with the right groups will zoom by, So save up and prepare to be pocket pawned on cash around 50+ n_n oh ya LESS QQ MORE PEW PEW

I find it funny that he's getting that angry to the point of insulting you, all because of something he tried to do in game that didn't work out.
When something in a game makes you so mad that it actually affects your real life...thats when you know you need to quit.

lol oh well its life I've actually only broken 1 weapon and that was a +* with a blessed I dont see how its hard to enhance but i also found a spot thats 95% success woot go me my secret ftw x3

This guy needs to just deal with it, its a chance to get your stuff upgraded. You want to see a loss? Come to Conquer Online, go to the website buy 10+ dragon balls for 15.99 USD a 5 pack, then go to the npc Artisan Wind and try to upgrade the quality of an item. After about the 10th one and it has not budged even with our luck enhancing skill, then you have a right to cry because you just lost 32 bucks. 100 silver..pffffttttt....thats nothing.

The pvp in CO is better then any game out there though, if TQ (the maker) actually cared they could have probably the best mmorpg on the market, besides WoW....

People get pissed off at lots of interesting reasons. "You spilt water on my dress!", for example. Just because it's a video game doesn't mean he's not allowed to get annoyed when the effort put into the game (we all put effort in just by playing it) went kaput.

Anyway, back to the topic. This is one case where the odds backfired. One little fact does not make a case. Personally, I think the refinement system works well. Does that mean it really does work well? No. I'm only one person. In order for me to know if the Refinement system is "fair", I'd have to literally tear apart the coding for Fiesta and figure it out myself (which I can't do) or I'd have to get someone from Outspark to look it up for me (which they probably wouldn't do). The only problem I have with the Refinement system is that the Lv15 weapons 200c, while Lv20 weapons cost 6,000c. A 2900% (30x) increase in cost? Jeez! Very few people would want to try and enhance a weapon that costs them one third to all of their current money at the moment.

This whole not having money thing is really new to me, I am use to having a character worth a billion+ gold. =/

The point I'm making is not that he is pissed off... it's that he does not have to act like a jack *** to someone because he's pissed off at the game.

By the way thanks for giving me the definition of "offence". However, I don't really need you to spit out dictionary definitions to me since I am quite capable of looking up a word I don't understand myself. If that was even the case here... (which it isn't). I did graduate from high school, and get accepted into college, and offence is probably a 2nd grade level word.

We all know whats at stake when we enchant, so whats the point of crying if you took the risk? It could have just of easily been the other way around. Thats the point, you take a risk and have to reap the benefits one way or the other. No point in crying about it. If you don't want it to happen, then we all know how to prevent it.

When enchancing an item we all must see the very small chance of breaking something and the chance of failing the enhancement. Its like a slot machine. You put your money in (in this case you put your weapon in) You pull the lever and just wait and hope you'll win the game. If you lose, you try again and again. Until you know what your out of money and you have no more left. Sometimes you'll be lucky and win that jackpot, but the majority of the time you won't. So all we can do is hope and try not to cry over our stupid mistakes. Enough said!
