Is this any good so far?

as far as what's been released, does it seem like it could be good compared to MapleStory? MS is the only MMORPG i play, and i've been looking for a good one besides MS. any luck so far with this one?

I actually just came here from MapleStory (Mardia Server, IGN - FameMeNOWZ). Check through my post history to see my rants about it.

In general, here's some pro's and cons -

Pros
- You actually see GM's in this game, and not only that, they host events frequently.
- The EXP rate is ALOT better than MS. You can still get at least 1% per kill for almost any level if you know where to train.
- The economy is fairly stable, but it IS still a closed Beta so we'll have to see.
- Monsters actually drop stuff you can use (or at least NPC)
- Players are usually willing to help other players, rather than calling them a noob and running away.

Cons
- The game is still in BETA, so things may change at any time.
- The quests are still rather worthless (not AS bad as MapleStory, but not that great either)
- The Cash Shop hasn't been released yet...but hopefully they won't completely sell out like MapleStory did

For me, this game completely beats MapleStory. You made a great choice by coming here.

this game is sweet besides the glitches..when will it be done with beta testing?

thx. i never liked being part of MMO betas, cause i'm a perfectionist. i have to follow a guide, put in the right stats and everything, but meh. buddy me sometime if you can Triysle. my s/n on SoS is TestSylph. i didn't feel like wasting a name for a beta, so meh.

you think MS is good? oh god >< MS is the most horrible game ive ever played.

So far id put this game up with the likes of Ragnarok Online (though havent been playing for very long ^^)

Sinfulsmoke: seeing as how the game still lacks a lot of content(world-wise, etc), needs a lot more quests, lacks the upper classes (guessing by the state of the class-tree), is literally riddled with spelling, grammatical errors and consistency errors (etc), it would be safe to say that we'll be here for a while before the beta-test is over =] (let alone getting to the stage where balancing is an issue)
I'm inclined to believe that a lot of features still need adding, although a fair amount is already there =]

My opinion: it's showing a lot of promise =]

I'm hoping a lot more detail gets added and that maybe we'll be able to have a huge impact there.
