Trapper good in PVE?

Is a trapper good for PVE?

I think I'll go for Trapper but I regularly play PVE above PVP, so does Trapper work for PVE too?

Personally, I think both Assassins and Trappers have a tough time in PVE. Unless mobbing, of course (Sprint, yay).

For single monsters, Assassins can use their Assassination skill to land an easy first hit or last hit on a monster. Its quick enough that it gets you out of range of the monster's attacks as a first hit move (or if the monster dodged by jumping >.<), while its range protects you from having to get too close before execution, making it the safest finishing move in most situations. However, it cannot be used as a "middle" hit because you'll run into the monster and hurt yourself. Assassins also have more damaging attacks like Extreme Thrust and Throw Knife that can help take down a single monster's health quickly and easily. **Edit: I take that back. Assassination can be used whenever, but take care when using it as a "middle" hit. Sometimes you get out of the monster's range in time, sometimes you don't. Guess it depends on how close you are to the enemy when you execute (closer is better) and your lag. XD

Trappers can have a monster follow them and run into bombs... pretty easy if single killing or weakening a mob. Trappers also have Poison Cloud for weakening a mob of monsters.

So Assassin is more the direct execution type.

And Trapper the more 'run away while placing bombs' type.


Prolly go for Assassin then.
