Cleric or archer for main?

I have a lv 28 archer and 27 cleric. I don/t know which one should be my main. First, which one levels to lv 60 faster, Second, which one is better at PvE and PvP, Lastly which one is easier to lv past lv 60? Please share ur thoughts!

I can only speak from the archer point of view but I have found from observing a few key points:
1. Archers can solo very easy for the fact that they can pull AI one at a time or
2. Can Tank a crowd of AI if they build there charactor right.

I have done both and do both and have built my lvl42 archer by putting all points into STR,DEX,END evenly.

I have read all the other threads concerning how to build your archer, I find that this way has worked very well for me.

Archer will lvl faster because it can kie huge mobs.

Cleric level always the slowest. But you save a lot of money on cleric.

... I personally think Archers are the best mains... They're a lil hard to level first, then after 51, All archers just fly to 60 xD Clerics... Are fine actually... Just slowwww

i find it depends onthe person actually i am slow at leveling archer but cleric was easy to level so its actually which one you like best for the one youlike best you play more with and will level easier with for me it was my cleric and fighter my clerics main

I agree with madylynns, its all what you like to do better, healing and being a tough little guy or kiting and being squishy

clerics ftw lol, but i am biased as i rarely play an archer to a decent level. last one i did was on maplestory and i grudgingly admit i enjoyed it, though i've never been a fan of ranged classes.. but being a cleric is win, and i wouldn't trade my cleric main for anything <3

Solo: archer
With a great party/duo: either


Second, which one is better at PvE and PvP,

Clerics, when built and geared properly, can take beatings, but in later levels, can't do much damage. Archers can kill loads. Also, kiting is win.


Lastly which one is easier to lv past lv 60? Please share ur thoughts!

If you're able to find loads of people to party with, or a DD to duo with all the time, a cleric is easy enough to level.
If you like to solo, archer's the way to go. After 60, soloing on your cleric is a great way to chat with others, as it takes a great deal of time to kill mobs.
