alchemy quest

Anyone having problems getting the alchemy quest in the magic refinery to initiate? I keep being told that I'm unable to do the quest because I am currently doing a conflicting quest. I've deleted all myt current quests and have waited 24 hours, but I still get that same response from the alchemist. Anyone have any input?:)

Well first i love that quest i think its the best. I just can't help my self saying it i mean exp and money great things >_< You know you do have to wait 24hours but guess you know a small timer comes on. If you can't get the quest going again after that and tryed every thing maybe want to report it. You can always level up and try with another character if you have another. I don't know what you can do if you have tryed every thing like waiting, deleteing other quests, and did it right then there is nothing you can do but wait, report it, or don't worry about it.

I am having the same problem. It acts like it is going to give me the quest then it says it cannot give me the quest because of either a conflicting quest or that it cannot be repeated with-in 24 hours. I have never done this quest before and I deleted all of my pending quests.

The only thing i can think of is that i have already had the blacksmith make a +2 weapon for me, but I obtained that Xen stone from an event, not a quest.
