Hmm I would think there would be no problem if you were to power level someone and they sent you a gift as a token of gratitude. But I suspect that making a deal where a gift would be used as payment for power levelling might be a no no.

That's pretty grey, there. Hard to make a call on it. I mean they didn't make rules on trading gifts for in-game services, but I think they might mean just that using gifts in exchange for payment is illegal.

I just wouldn't go shouting, "Trading Gifts for plvling!" or something like that, that's all I'll say.

I think that the gift would have to be out of the kindness of someone's heart for the help in leveling, however it would be against the rules if the agreement was made beforehand that for leveling someone up X amount of times they owed you something in return from the Cash Shop. But then again there really is no way to tell who is doing what and even if someone SAYS that they will gift you an item for pleveling they may just not do it in the end and you get scammed. I think the whole idea of gifting ended up becoming a trainwreck. It was supposed to be for those of us that either A) Can't afford CS items and we have a friend that will buy them for us or B) If we don't have the access to these items and someone is nbice enough to gift them. Not for people to use their acsess of the CS to give them an even greater upper hand.

Gifting for gold and services can never be stopped whether OS like it or not. If someone wants a gift all they gotta do is buy a T1 SP pot or something for lets say 1g while the other person gifts them whatever it is. Therefore the gold has been traded for in game goods and the gift has been given for free. That, my friends, they call a loophole.

A similar scenario can be applied to Plvling for gifts. Someone Plvls another for no payment then when the desired level is reached the levelee gifts the leveller because they have made a new friend and the levelee likes to gift friends.

Here is the ANSWER to your question by CSR_Joker and i quote it:

Shadowic flagged me to check this thread so let's get to that point:

The short version:

Gifting someone for power level services should be OK in most cases. However, Outspark will not get involved when these activities go bad. If you engage in these activities, do so at your own risk. As always, never give any account information out to another user (except for the Spark ID, which is required to send the gift). Sharing account information is the number one cause for compromised accounts.


The long version:

Make sure you do not exchange account information. No matter what the situation is, asking or getting asked for information regarding logging in to someone else's account is a major offense and will get you in major trouble.

We do not encourage power leveling in return for gifts, although it's not illegal, asking for a gift as a condition to helping someone in game becomes more of a complicated situation especially if there is a disagreement. This is something that Outspark staff will never get involved in. You help someone, they send you a thank you item or note or message or whatever, that's all good, don't report a scam if you are not happy with whatever you thought they should send you (enhancement scamming flashbacks, that's why we made enhancement services illegal).

Please remember that gifting items in return for game currency is strictly prohibited. I am sure someone will try to stretch their luck and claim this was a gift for helping. We do monitor gifting. If we find abuse, we will act on those accounts (we already have enforced this rule a few times).

I suddenly have a though ^-^ I have one playing account and one shopper account and a lot storage account (2 pc) My spark cash was spread out before gifting system. Now I just gift (tycoon) myself form one account and the vendering account feed in game money back to main account.

It will be funny to seem like gifting for in game money. XD Yet it is both me. And I plevel my own cleric using my fighter too. Ouch I enhance some of their equipment too, no point keeping eyes separate too.
