Have you ever had those awkward moments where it feels so uncomfortable but you can't get out of it? I've had them hundreds of times, it makes me queezy just thinking about it.
One Of My Awkward Moments
So, I'll start, on Youtube a lot of you know Community Channel/Natalie Tran right? If not, you should check her out because she's pretty famous in Australia and around the world for her very funny videos that actually bring up the truth. Anyway, today I just watched one of her videos, mirrors and single women?, and it brought up such an awkward memory.->
I have this weird habit of singing songs that are quickly made up in my head to let out my emotions(LOL) and I'll sing them all the time but most people won't catch me. The place I sing my songs most is in school. So here's where it all started, at school. It was lunch time and I felt moody that day so in turn it would cause me to sing a slow and calm song. I went to the bathroom unaware that a security camera was in there, all the footage is released in the office, shown on a big T.V screen, out in the open for EVERYONE TO SEE.
So I went to the mirror and I started singing a slow song, for some reason, unusually, really loud although I couldn't really hear myself singing that loud though. My friend, who was apparently at the office phoning his mom to bring him something was waiting in line to use the phone. He looked up at the big T.V screen that was filming me sing in the bathroom in the mirror and didn't really get what I was doing because there wasn't any sound. So he ditched the line-up and sprinted to the bathroom where I was about half-way through my song and getting to the chorus again, unfortunately, I always make the chorus extremely grand. What I mean by grand is, I literally close my eyes and my hands will rise slowly into the air.
Now, by the time I got the chorus my eyes were closed and my hands were slowly rising, but my friend was right behind the door hearing my every word, faintly from behind. He opens the door, although I don't hear it, and he sees everything! EVERYTHING@!!!! I open my eyes a-bit and I realize he was right there completely speechless.
"Wha--what are you doing..." he asks.
*I think to myself,"O frick, he caught me...what the hell do I do now...??!!"*
And I came up with something so utterly ridiculous but I was desperate for a solution so I replied with it anyway--
"I was--I was checking if I had laryngitis by----by singing a song and the bathroom--," I replied with an automatic smile that I couldn't break free of.
*I think to myself,"Nice one...Andrew...nice one...," I sighed in my head,"There's no way he's going to forget this, is he?
My friend stands there completely speechless and says,"Bu--."
And I stare back at him.
Now that I think about it, it was really funny XD But still awkward really awkward.
