Ok, so I have a few things that I wanted to say or open for discussion and I didn't want to post a bunch of threads so here goes.

1) Plvling for CS Items?
I overheard a discussion while in Uruga about it not being against the ToS to plvl characters in exchange for CS items. If this is allowable then why isn't buying CS items for in game money allowable since technically the buyer of said items will still have to buy more spark cash for themself anyway (not damaging profits at all) there are several games that have allowed this already. I think it's called Ether Saga or something but they allow and even have a system set up to trade in game currency for CS currency. I think that it's a really good idea and could actually reduce the stress of CSRs having to deal with something like that as opposed to harassment, hacking etc. issues.

2) Berating new players for asking questions?
We were all new and regardless of what the pompous "experienced" players have to say game guides and forum threads DO NOT contain all the answers. As Rodney King put it, "Why can't we all just get along?" If a new player asks an obvious questiong to YOU your first instinct should be to help that player any way possible. Everyone was a noob at one point regardless of what they claim and they asked silly questions too. So here's an idea, instead of wasting your time and their time help them.

3) Gang PK!
Ok, honestly if you can't kill someone by yourself and you're starting trouble in a PvP area such as the abyss or FBZ don't get your friends to fight your battles for you, you're going to look weaker than you already are. Also, if you need charms and the plethora of other CS items to just survive in PvP maybe you should develop some actual gaming skills before you claim dominance over a non-cs user because odds are if you were on a level playing field they would mop the floor with your toon's face.

4) Shout Convos!
Regardless of how egocentric some players might be, the whole world does not want to know what you and your friend or random talking partner have to talk about. It's even more distracting than someone spam begging for buffs in Elderine. Then there are the children who mutilate the english language then get tough with a keyboard when what should be happening is their parents should slap them in their smart mouth and take away their computer privvys :).

It's not something to cry about or complain about, it's something to read and think about and laugh about. Now I'm almost positive at least one person is going to get a hair in their eye about something and complain. And to those people I say, "Lighten up, it's a game."

I really don't understand why gifting for in game money is illegal either. OS still gets their money; if you wanna waste RL cash for IG cash be my guest.

Berating noobs is also a childish maneuver to make yourself feel better. We all did something stupid when we started (e.g. having a convo with a spammer, not knowing what skills are)

But including #5 defeats the purpose of this thread at all. If you're going to voice your opinion about something, you're going to get someone else's opinion in response; whether it be a good or bad one. You were more or less asking for it.

We're all playing the same game and if I want to talk to someone, it's basically the same as talking to a RL friend on MSN. You're still socializing.

I'm having a friendly debate with you. Arguing my point without going into childish insults/etc is the equivalent of a debate is it not? Asking me to "get the hair out of my eye" is basically telling me to shut up and go on my merry way because this is "just for fun" and I'm "complaining". Clarify if this is not what you meant. Then filter the shout chat and quit complaining? They're allowed to have shout convo's all day long if they feel like it. So long as it isn't the same set of lines every .5 seconds it isn't spam.

Not to mention, people being teamed in GW,s FBZs, or Abyss maps. Though unfair, is totally legal. There is no "gaming skills" in fiesta's PvP, it's who has the bigger wallet to blow on a F2P game. You should know this by now.

Complaining in a GW if you get teamed, doesn't make them look weak.

That would be interesting. Would definitely help the economy imo. Or at least those that don't or can't spend real money on SC.

As Rodney King put it, "Why can't we all just get along?" If a new player asks an obvious questiong to YOU your first instinct should be to help that player any way possible. Everyone was a noob at one point regardless of what they claim and they asked silly questions too. So here's an idea, instead of wasting your time and their time help them.

Nubs are never fun to deal with because you always run the risk of finding that one thats like "boof plox" or "u r high lvl. u have stuff to give?". Also, another thing to consider is, some people may have made a new character to take advantage of some nice high level player, and "take his stuff and ditch 'em". So some people's attitude towards that is understandable.

I was in one of those the other day. If it really bugs you that much, block them. As you stated, "Lighten up, it's a game." Let people do what they want in a game. And a Shout Convo isn't really that bad. I mean i understand someone spamming "BOOF PLOX" and then the kids (and there are ALOT OF YOU) that can't type the english language to save their lives, but like i said, If it bugs you that much, block them.
