Examin the light pillar quest

Guys i've been zooming in and out on the pillar couldnt see the quest item i supposed to retrieved.

does anyone finished this quest? pls let me know thanks.

i started it long ago but could never finish i keept the pouch item i was givine but was stuck on part 2.. after is fixed now i went to the pilar clicked it and works fine for me my quest finish. 1,2 mill xp

before there's anymore confusion on this particular subject there is the "Light And Shadow Song 2" quest which has indeed been fixed.

now, after you finish "Light And Shadow Song 2" the pillar gives you a new quest called "Examine The Light Pillar" which as far as i can tell is bugged (go figure -_-) at the moment.

I think it's a bug >< i finished the Light and Song 2. Now I have Examine Light Pillar and I don't see a thing to find that lined pouch.

finally got the pouch. dont need to examine the pillar.

go to eldy and there's a new NPC there Lord Elbama if i'm not mistaken he'll give the pouch.
but when you got the pouch and went to get the reward from the pillar nothing happens.

If you do have the "examine the light pillar" quest, DROP IT!!!

They unbugged the level 87 quest named "Light and Shadow Song 2" with last patch and this one appeared for no reason...

It should not be taken since it will block you from completing
Light and Shadow Song 2.
Light and Shadow Song 3
Light and Shadow Song 4
Light and Shadow Song 5
Light and Shadow Song 6
Light and Shadow Song 7
Light and Shadow Song 8

Yes.. there are 8 of them...
Those quests require you to go back and forth between
Elderine & BR
Urugua & BR
Roumen & BR

It will take you a lot of traveling but are worth it...

And once you complete them, you will receive more quests:
- Jewel tree (get a fake jewel from JT)
- Mara's tears 1 & 2 (get red nix meat)
- Lava vivi's quest (get lava vivis' flame)
- Crystal guardians (get some drops)

I don't know at what level we were supposed to get all these quests but they are now available.. Just got them at level 90....

What if you have the pouch and are level 87 but cant get the reward even though it says reward and the pillar has the blue circle? If you drop it at the point won't you lose it all???

Same thing goes - if you have the 'examine the light pillar' quest - give it up. The light pillar will then be able to talk to you and will give you the quest again plus reward you for it in the same conversation.

k i'm confused. i did do the droping and picking it up again so i can complete it. i got the pouch from that king dude. now i just examined it and says to find another one, but theres no one thats giveing me one. i checked every npc in the game and its not giveing me the pouch. is it a bug or am i not lookin at the right map?

WOAH... hold on... I got the "Examine the Light Pillar" quest and I do have the Small Lined Pouch.... Obviously the Light Pillar doesn't do anything when I click on it....

What yall said is to drop the quest then some others show up.... BUT I'm lvl 91... if I drop it do I still get the other quests? I'm so lost.

Light pillar quests(lv87-95+)

*quests have to be done in this order to get next one
*quests when you get 3 choices to answer i dont think it matters what you choose, but it might change what quests you get, i dont know.
*In BR there is a quest @ the light pillar, DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! it will mess up the 1st 4 quests. if you did accept it, drop it. quest is called "examining the light pillar"
*If you drop you light pouch, give up quest you are on, and reaccept it.


Light and shadow 1
Talk to town chief and listen to chat.
1,182,000 EXP 25Silver(s) 600Copper.

Light and shadow 2
Take small pouch to light pillar in BR. and then take it back to town chief.
1,182,000 EXP 25Silver(s) 600Copper.

Light and shadow 3
Accept this quest from new npc in eldy(lord elbama)
Go back to light pillar and get more light pieces. then talk to him again

get this quest from maria in roumen. She asks you to get 30 red nix meat. get them from red nix. then go back and talk to her.

She asks you to get 30 red nix meat(again -.-). get them from red nix. you also need t2 sp potion, 40 common mushrooms and 10 geraniums.

Go to elderine and talk to kenton to complete quest.
