Yeah I'm concerned that the new-server atmosphere will be ruined because of this race. Epith was so much fun as a baby server, and level competition stayed fair til level 60, when people started spending $500+ a month. Then the hardcore sc users pulled ahead of the rest of us, no matter how much I spent I couldn't keep up, etc. I had to quit soon after anyways. This time around, there'll be level 1's with 100% exp boost cards. =/

Oh I've moved to other games, was happily quit but came back for cap raise. Somehow I always miss something that's unique to Fiesta... kingdom quests, buff scrolls, whatever. Or just my friends. Me and few my guildy's from Apoline gonna play on this server. We usally only use SC for costume and +9 our things waste on exp cards cause we already have our classes in mind. (Moving from Cleric too mage thinking about archer like on Teva)

The Staff is just as concerned for personal welfare of the players as you are in your posting that. It's ultimately the decision of the individual's to forsake their good health or school standing to participate in such a method.

No one can make you play at any time you're not convinced to do so willingly, and even if it were a case of being 'provoked', you can only be provoked by doing as challenged. No one can force action, such is a choice on your own behalf.

If it was done in secret and people were upset about it, there'd be just as many discontented threads after the fact than if they had announced it previously, if they got wind of it. As far as that goes though, if there are 'hate' threads, that's what we CL's are here to catch, so it's not like there's a lack of preparation or anything.

Don't you mean: "OS needs MOAR money to be able to give out more TVs in contests that give OS MOAR money. And give out more Graphic cards in ways that people pay to try to win it." Seriously... sure, OS needs to make money to develop the games (not like we see much progress; lag, d/c, etc). But they are just taking it too far, so far, that to the point where players are quiting cause of it.

Do you really think a non-sc player has even the slightest chance? Hell no. They need to spend at least $30-50 to have even a LITTLE chance of winning.

I always stick with this game, because it has great potential, to be better then a lot of other famous games. But every time I get on and the new 'announcement' is a new cash shop item or I see dumb events like this one (new server) that "almost" forces people to pay with there money just so they have a chance at it (helga is another example), then I have lost all confidence in this greedy company to have the 'potential' to be better then other games.

The one thing I hate about this game, is that it is solely based off of the cash shop. Think about it, without +9's, do you really think a fighter-tank will be able to tank helga? Even AT lv120, I don't think the fighter could do it.

I want to see OS make a non-sc server, lol see how far people actually get. See how long it will take them to get cap. See what they could tank with no +9's,cookies,extenders. Now THAT, would be a cap race I am willing to join.

I really don't mind this at all. I rarely spend money for sparkcash anyways. I'm only planning to this time because I just wanna be the first to 20, 60, 80. I'm honestly not worried about the 1,000,000 free sparkcash at all. If you wanna no life your way to 105 go right ahead. I'll just sit by and have fun doing what I want.

As for the well-being of the server. Look at Epith, it was a mix of people from Apo, Teva, Bijou who were TIRED of the drama in their servers. And look at what Epith has become now? It would just be a matter of time before Cypion would become just like them, this just speeds it up just a bit.

Stop complaining, OS wants money. They give you a free MMO to play in which you can do whatever you want.

They can call this a free MMO if AND ONLY IF they never added items that increase your actual stats. I mean in all fairness there are more people who would love to pvp but cannot since PvP is run by Cookies.

I am not saying that SC is bad, its just that if you can only get this type of stat buff for paying actual cash, its not really free, because you cannot enjoy yourself if you cannot afford cookies all the time.
